I had my first ever dose at 2.5mg a couple of hours ago. How long after the injection would side effects start? I injected into my thigh. I’m mostly nervous about nausea and vomiting.
Whenever I hear or read that avoidants grew up with emotionally unavailable or neglectful parents, it annoys the hell out of me. My avoidant ex has the most caring, attentive parents. You can pick holes in anyone's parenting - there will always be something to criticise - but his parents are incredibly loving and have always been there for him. I just don't buy into a neglectful childhood always being the reason that someone is an avoidant.
I had a lumbar puncture yesterday. My opening pressure was 22, which I believe is in the grey area - above 20, but below 25.
An MRI revealed: There is evidence of a benign increase in intracranial pressure as empty sella and dilation/tortuosity of optic nerve sheaths.
A CT venogram revealed a narrowed transverse sinus.
My neurologist suspected IIH. Does my LP result still support this?
