Just got my first base 88 weapon after 500 hours of playtime.

As the title would imply, it took 500 hours to get my first 88 base power weapon. It was a rusted one that I got for kohga. I got an 84 yesterday, and was using that. I was doing vicious monster missions, and upon beating the lynel I got a rusted weapon. Now I have my first ever 88 weapon. I feel conflicted about it being on him of all characters though. I intend to grind to get the king one next.

A rant of my issues with aoc

The weapon grinding sucks so much because its a RANDOM chance for any character. There's also the fact that facing mutated ganon is such a boring fight. It takes forever and just isnt very fun to do. And you have to grind it over and over, to potentially not even see a single max base damage weapon. There's also another complaint I have, and its that there isnt a single level 100 fight. It caps at 93 at the end of the extra bonus content. And why is the final Battle a lower level than facing mutated ganon? There's also seal grinding. You have to get iqwf seals, which takes hours. There's one more complaint I have for the dlc, and its the inconsistent starting point. You can unlock vicious monsters extremely early, but the first point to actually get one of the most important things (the report you get for killing guardians) only becomes reliably obtainable halfway through the story. Why do they do that? Give you a nearly game breaking weapon at the start, let you get a fair chunk into the ancient lab, only to make you wait half the game to continue. If i want to do a master cycle only playthrough, or a flail only playthrough, im locked out of half my options until chapter 5. Its not like its a long stretch, it just annoys me because I have to wait til half the story is done already before I can start the playthrough properly. Another complaint i have is how calamity ganon is handled as a playable character. On handheld mode, ganon is nearly unbearable to play as. Hes gigantic, which is cool, but with so many indoor maps, whats the point? He'd fit in much better in the DE areas because he'd be able to actually move in those. Same goes for the guardian. These are both frustrating to play because you have to play them like navigating a maze because you cant see half the screen. I have more but this is too long so ill just post this. Use this as a space to complain about de or aoc i guess? Idk

What 1 character playthrough should I do next?

Every once in a while, I will start a new game, get to a certain playstyle or character with minimum completion otherwise, and 100% the game with them. Ive done both base game Zelda playstyles, one handed link, mipha, and i think 1 or 2 others but I forgot. Im currently on 2 handed link. I could just pick the next one myself, but thats boring so someone else tell me

A little annoyance i give myself

So, I just played a ton of DE over the past few months. DE does not have dashing heavy attacks. If you are running, and click X, if that characters X is stationary, they will stop in place. I have grown used to this. I just started my newest aoc playthrough; the two handed link only playthrough. His mechanic is a life drain that can be remedied by using his X move before taking damage. Im sure you see where this is going. Im used to stopping in place for moves like links. Several times now, i would be attacking, get a bunch of the effect built up, start to run away, click X, realize I didn't stop first and did the running attack instead, and lost half my health for it. I wish there was a way to turn dash attacks off in aoc

How fast is nemesis moving during the clock tower battle?

I cant find any source for it, but if basic nemesis can sprint at about 50 miles per hour, how fast is nemesis moving across the buildings during the clock tower fight?

How do I get double bombos quickly?

Just tell me. Ive looked online for hours, none of this makes any sense. I dont know any of these terms or words or any of that, I just have one level 30 fairy that kinda sucks and nothing else. I dont know what gratitude crystals are for or even how to get them, I dont know how food elements work, how any of the my fairy thing works, I just need to know. What even is bombos? How do I get it? How do I get two of it? How can I do it without losing my will to live? I DID search before asking this. Nothing made any sense

Lorule top right square is almost unwinnable

This is genuinely just insane. It doesnt matter what I do, I get hit one time and my entire health bar is just gone. Tetra stunlocks me, and with the 19 poes simultaneously attacking me, I just die instantly. Even if I beat that, I die on linkle. And if I beat that the imprisoned one shots me with electricity I can't dodge because I have to actually do damage. It doesnt matter if I use my highest leveled, highest damage character. I still take unfair amounts of damage, do barely even a knee scrape of damage, and I just get bombarded with so many enemies I can't run away, cause Im running into the mine field of projectiles. Am I going to have to grind to the max level just to stand a chance? Am I going to have to grind gold skulltulas for 9 hours to stand a chance? Am I going to have to sacrifice my third born child 20 years from now to win? I feel pathetic, but the damage im taking in comparison to what im doing is like a toddler versus 93 Mike Tysons

Is there a worse feeling?

When you have a fight thats going to unlock like a huge amount of progress, but the fight only lets you use one character and its locked to one that is extremely underleveled and so you have to either grind up until you can properly beat the stage, or scrape by on half a heart the whole time. I hate this so much. Its always ruto, too.

About to unlock yugas level 4 weapon.

Is there any tips I should have going into this stage? Cause ive heard certain weapon unlock fights can be hard enough to pull your hair out. I haven't found anything about this stage. Is there anything I need to know? Or can I just rush in and get it? Just in case, I DID search before I asked. I could not find anything.

I am making great progress

So, for context. I started hyrule warriors definitive edition a few years ago, but got stuck because of the Ganon trident mission and gave up. I recently reset my save data, and started from scratch. I have now made it halfway through the first 2 adventure maps, and have just went ahead a little to unlock links level 3 sword. I have just gotten an extremely good seal load out on it, and will now begin to catch up on gold skulltulas id missed. I still have not beaten the Ganon trident mission, and am partially stuck because I hate great swords. I will get Ganon to a higher level so I can succeed and get some extra stuff for link.

[Oot] discussion about exactly how strong hero of time link is

So, I was just thinking about exactly how physically powerful oot hero of time link actually is. I want to know because it'd be really funny if link can actually lift 500 billion pounds like I saw someone say

This games soundtrack is genuinely incredible

You have incredible tracks to sleep to, incredible tracks to just be peaceful to, incredible tracks to just enjoy, its genuinely criminal how little its talked about. Broken fear, ice dungeon, bluster cluster, dont open the door, 2nd layer theme, 3rd layer theme, genuinely not one piece of music in the game is below 8/10

Can someone tell me how weapons work?

I want to get some of the alternate playstyles for characters. I also want to not be stuck to using link the whole time. How do I unlock the stronger weapons for characters? Like white sword for link. There's the base weapon, but how do you unlock the version that starts higher off? I have tried to search on the internet but I am still clueless. I would like to play my other characters, but their damage is so much lower that I just dont

Trading this for either a cc account or a low progress account with both of the new 8th anni units

Im 30k cc deep into summoning, so I give up. Im just trading my dokkan account instead of torturing myself further

u/Top_Grass9841 — 3 months ago
