Google Ads / LSA / GBP Specialist — Home Services Performance Marketing
We are a U.S.-based performance growth partner working with home service companies (HVAC, roofing, plumbing, fencing, and other trades). We scale our clients through paid acquisition, sales optimization, and full-funnel growth systems. Our goal is simple: dominate every Google-owned surface a homeowner touches when they need a service — search, maps, LSAs, YouTube, and everything in between.
We're hiring a Google Ads / LSA / GBP Specialist to own our entire Google stack across the client portfolio. If you obsess over quality scores, love bidding wars, and can't stop staring at a search terms report — this is your role.
Your mission: make our clients the #1 Local Services Ads buyer in every market they operate in, dominate Google Search results, and squeeze every drop of high-intent traffic out of Google Business Profiles and YouTube ads.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Local Services Ads (LSA):
- Own LSA account management across all client markets
- Aggressively win the top spot in every service area — be the highest bidder that still hits target CPL
- Optimize LSA lead-to-booking rate through fast dispute management, review response, and lead qualification
- Manage LSA budgets across markets to maximize qualified lead volume within CPL targets
- Track and dispute unqualified LSA leads religiously — recover every dollar Google owes us
Google Ads (Search + PMAX):
- Build, launch, and scale Search, PMAX, and Display campaigns for high-intent homeowner traffic
- Own keyword strategy, negative keyword lists, ad copy, and extension optimization
- Build and manage location, service, and problem-based campaign structures
- Optimize Quality Scores to lower CPC and increase impression share
- Manage bid strategies, budgets, and pacing across accounts
- Deep search terms report analysis — cut waste, double down on winners
- Landing page and ad copy alignment for maximum conversion
YouTube Ads:
- Build YouTube ad campaigns targeting homeowners at the point of intent
- Optimize creative testing, audience targeting, and placement strategy
- Balance brand-building YouTube with direct-response YouTube for booked appointments
- Own view-through and post-view conversion tracking
Google Business Profile (GBP):
- Optimize GBP listings across all client locations (multi-location and single-location strategies)
- Manage GBP posts, photos, Q&A, and service listings for maximum organic visibility in Maps
- Drive review generation, respond to reviews, and manage GBP reputation signals
- Optimize for the Google Maps 3-pack in high-value service areas
- Sync GBP strategy with LSA and Local Search performance
Cross-Platform Optimization:
- Own the entire Google ecosystem view — how LSA, Search, GBP, and YouTube reinforce each other
- Report weekly on CPL, CPA, quality lead rate, cost per booked appointment, and revenue per lead
- Coordinate with landing page team on conversion optimization
- Test aggressively and document every winning strategy for portfolio-wide rollout
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 3+ years hands-on Google Ads management, ideally for lead gen or home services accounts
- Deep experience running Local Services Ads at scale — you know how to game the LSA algorithm within Google's rules
- Strong experience with Google Business Profile optimization (SEO for Maps 3-pack)
- Proven track record scaling Google accounts — you can point to specific accounts, budgets, and lead volume growth
- Fluent in Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio
- Deep understanding of tracking, attribution, and conversion measurement
- YouTube Ads experience (Video Action Campaigns, TrueView for Action, etc.)
- Comfortable managing $10K–$500K+/month in Google ad spend across multiple accounts
- Strong written and spoken English — you'll be communicating directly with U.S. team members
- Analytical, methodical, obsessed with data — you make bidding decisions from search terms reports, not vibes
- Self-starter who can operate with full autonomy
- Reliable internet, quiet workspace, and ability to overlap with U.S. business hours
BONUS POINTS:
- Direct experience running LSAs and Google Ads for HVAC, roofing, plumbing, fencing, solar, or similar trades
- Google Ads certifications (Search, Display, Video, Shopping)
- Experience with call tracking platforms (CallRail, WhatConverts, CallTrackingMetrics)
- Familiarity with home services CRMs (ServiceTitan, Jobber, GoHighLevel, HubSpot)
- Experience integrating call and form conversions back to Google Ads for smart bidding
- Local SEO and GBP ranking experience
- Ability to write conversion-focused ad copy that beats competitor ads on Google Search
