Is It Permissible to Partner with an Influencer If Their Content May Include Some Impermissible Elements?

Assalamu Alaikum, I am building an app (the app's purpose, use, etc is 100% halal). I will be partnering up (50/50 split or something, its also possible, that he is given more share than me) with some some influencer for the app.

My question: If I build the app myself (halal), but later partner with someone who uses music in content he creates about the app or something else thats not permissible in islam, does that make me sinful?

So chances of that influencer being non-muslim is high and because he's a partner not a freelancer/employee I cannot dictate him what to do and not to do in the content.

If it is sinful for me, what options are there if any, I mean is there something that can be changed slightly for it to not be sinful for me. If there's no fully halal option, I'll try some non-influencer approach.

Jazakallah Khair.

Technical Builder Looking for Sales-Side Partner for SMB AI Automation Business

I’m looking to connect with someone strong on the sales/business side who may be interested in building something together.

I come from the technical side. I’ve been in software development since 2021, and I can build and deliver the actual systems.

The business I’m exploring is around AI receptionist + business automation systems for SMBs.

The main offer would solve very real problems like:

  • missed calls turning into lost leads
  • inquiries coming in after hours
  • slow follow-up
  • old leads never getting reactivated
  • staff being tied up answering repetitive questions
  • businesses missing opportunities even when they already have a receptionist

Depending on the client, the system could include:

  • AI phone receptionist
  • website chat assistant
  • missed-call text-back
  • appointment booking
  • lead qualification
  • old lead reactivation
  • CRM/follow-up automations
  • other custom workflows where there’s a clear business case

The rough pricing I have in mind is (this pricing is mostly for smaller businesses, for medium size it can be more than that):

  • $500-$1,000 setup
  • $300-$1,000/month recurring

I’m not looking for a normal hire here.

The biggest gap on my side has honestly always been sales/outbound. I can build, deliver, and handle the technical side well, but I’d rather work with someone who naturally enjoys:

  • outreach
  • talking to business owners
  • figuring out positioning
  • testing offers
  • booking calls
  • maybe even handling closing if that’s their thing

I’d genuinely prefer building this with the right sales-minded person rather than trying to force myself to become something I’m naturally weaker at.

And to be clear, I’m not saying someone has to immediately become a “cofounder” and handle an entire sales organization from day one.

Even if someone mainly enjoys the outreach/cold-calling side and wants to help get the first clients, I’m open to discussing some sort of structure that makes sense for both sides, whether that’s commission, equity, partnership later, or something else.

Main thing I care about right now is finding someone practical who actually wants to help get clients and build something real together.

I’m open to starting simply:

  • talk first
  • see if we think similarly
  • test the market together
  • get first clients
  • then decide if there’s a bigger long-term fit

If this sounds interesting, DM me with:

  • your background
  • what you’ve sold before
  • whether you’ve worked with SMBs/B2B before
  • anything else you'd like to share

thank you

[HIRING] Cold Callers / Appointment Setters — Performance-Based — Remote

Looking for 2-3 cold callers to help book appointments for a service-based agency.

This is performance-based pay, not a fixed salary role.

What you get:

  • Script provided
  • Lead list provided
  • Clear offer
  • Calendar booking link
  • Flexible remote work
  • High commission per closed client

Pay:
50% commission per closed client.

I understand cold callers prefer a base pay + commission, the offer I have is: no base pay the commission is 50% If you are good you can make a lot more money this way. You will be working almost like a partner.

Requirements:

  • Some cold calling or appointment setting experience required
  • Clear professional English
  • Confident speaking to business owners
  • Able to handle rejection and basic objections
  • Able to call US/UK/AU businesses depending on campaign (you can be given the option to choose the location of calling, and will always be English only)
  • Must be consistent and reliable

Not for complete beginners.

DM me with:

  1. Your cold calling experience
  2. Your location/timezone
  3. How many calls you can make per day
  4. Any past results
