Topical discussion - yesterday a Weekly Shonen Jump author discussed how serialization was like for them circa 2015

For reference - Lady Justice started in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2015 by Ken Ogino and starred a high school girl who has superpowers. The only issue is that while she's invincible, her clothing isn't. Half the chapters have the punchline of her using 0.02% of her power to wreck her enemies, only for that to end up tearing up her supersuit too. The manga was cancelled after only 16 chapters.

(The author also mentioned in a separate tweet that it didn't help that by sheer coincidence, My Hero Academia started serialization shortly after and did the western superhero concept better than they could)
