Specifically, these might be guys who are on bad teams that decide to trade them or buy them out closer to the deadline.
Mine are:
- Jerami Grant (buy out)
- Jabari Smith Jr (trade Ayo for him once Donte looks like he’s coming back)
Obviously a lot of what-ifs here. But I think when we strike out on Lebron, it will be smart to just sit tight, stay flexible, and jump on the next opportunity.

I don’t know why but I’m just not very pumped. I’m optimistic about the team but not optimistic about the QB situation. It’s just getting frustrating at this point to not have a guy back there that we can trust for a decade

Our community is thinking someone like Aldama, but I think he’s too good and his value is too high for what we have to offer.
Celtics missing out on Giannis just majorly increased the chances of Derrick White to the wolves.

Did we lose the KAT trade in a vacuum? Yes.
But that was more of a money move than anything after the new CBA went live. Everything flows off of that. We wouldn’t have resigned Naz for example.
Did we just dump Randle for nothing? In a vacuum, yes. But now include Ayo’s deal in that trade, anyone we sign with the MLE, etc.
The only move I’ve hated from TC is letting NAW leave. Other than that, all of his moves have been good decisions that have led to a lot of winning. Tonight is more of that
