Just a quick FYI - He's reading his comments again

I finally got blocked, so I guess he's now turned his comment visibility back on (was probably a fucking lie to begin with) but figured people here would like the heads up

One reason that I know dsp has Asperger's

If a normal person was getting the response he has been all these years, they'd pull back, try to figure out what they're doing and adjust somewhat.

Zero of that from Phil. It's like Eric Cartman but absolutely unfunny which makes his personality horrifying.

That time where he crossed he couldn't figure out what to do on resident evil so he crossed his arms and refused to play was the pinnacle of his cunt behaviour.

Japanese teacher general conduct with alts

I'm just curious how others experiences are.

In my school, there's a small handful of staff that speak English. The rest don't speak English whatsoever and don't seem interested in trying - which I can understand. Alts come and go.

What's surprising me is how reluctant they are to even acknowledge me or nod hello in the corridor.

You can see the sudden change in their expression ' Ew, this guy' and do their best to look down or out the window.

I mean, isn't this just making things unnecessarily awkward?

Some do nod and give a hello, but a good chunk seems to be really against it.

Update: tried standing a conversation with the English teacher sat next to me today. She literally started playing with her phone and seemed to forget I was even there..

I know Japanese social cues are different but jesus christ that seemed rude

Common misconception DSP seems to make

Whenever he tries to address why he is so hated, he always seems to think it's certain things he's done and said.

He doesn't seem to realise it's also about who he is as a person. Like, whenever I've watched, I can't go more than 5 minutes without wanting to break his undeservedly smug face.

One way DSP could improve his situation immediately

First thing always comes to mind for me is the easiest - just shut the fuck up.

Practice what you preach, stay in your own lane, and play games.

He simply cannot shut his drooppy fucking face. Like Howard said, his damage control is AWFUL. And when even his dents say he should just ignore things, he has a bratty rage and says it's his stream he can say what he likes.

Other streamers have trolls and they have the mental strength to just ignore things but not Phil. He has the thinnest skin online.

One way to get less trolls is to bore them and not rage at every bit of bait.

What would Phil be doing if he wasn't a streamer?

I always imagine he'd just about manage being a retail supervisor.

Low effort enough with a taste of power and responsibility. Plus you usually get those kind of jobs by kissing ass and backstabbing, not through solid performance and progression. I can totally see him happily throwing people under the bus to get a little sliver of power.

Alt experience in the staff room

So bored. Brutal.

When I'm in class, it's fine. But alot of classes cancelled lately. I sit in the staff room learning Japanese.

I got a handful of teachers that speak English and occasionally exchange pleasantries, but the large majority don't seem to speak English and seem to have zero interest in me. I mostly feel invisible.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

Do Japanese people find bicycles annoying?

I struggle with the small pavements and the constant stream of bikes you have to be aware of. Even with clear bike lanes, people seem to just push you off the pavements with their large bikes but the Japanese seem unphased. Are you just used to it?

AITA for screaming at my mother in law

So my wife and I were due to move to Japan, and were staying at my mother's house before we left to get some of my wife's things from her mother's house.

The morning we were due to leave, my mother's dog, the family dog (my baby) has a seizure or stroke. Most horrifying thing I've ever seen.

He survives, but obviously we're all traumatized. My wife tells me we can delay going back to her mother's to finish packing so I can be there for my mother and my wife can be there for me.

Her mother isn't happy. She starts crying, guilts my wife into changing her mind but her mother tells her not to bother coming that day.

We delay by a day, get there and there's a bad vibe from her parents. My wife is upstairs in her old room upset, I decide to go speak with her parents.

Her mother is alone in the living room, and I try to open a dialogue. At one point she starts raising her voice, to which I tell her like 3 times that I can shout too.

She doesn't listen and I scream (I think I told her to shut the fuck up) admittedly, I shouldn't have. I was still upset over what happened with the dog, and obviously upset with how upset my wife was. Do you think we were wrong to delay getting there? Am I wrong for expecting an apology from her?
