Printed my own cold air intake for 5000D Frame to use x3 140mm fans

Didn't like the basic basement fan options for the 5000D Frame as I will have HDD stored down below and the x2 120mm fans looked like an afterthought on the include basement devider so, made my own to house x3 140mm fans.

Sadly I can't find any of the official cold air intake kits locally and Corsair don't ship here (and they only use 120mm fans?), so I got creative and saved some money too while keeping the larger side glass and using 140mm fans.. Turns out it's a win, win, win!

Printed in Bambu matte PLA. The fans fix together so are very rigid and will help strengthen the 3D printed shell if it gets tempted to sag due to heat but, should be fine with all that cold air being pumped in!

Before anyone asks about the front of the case placement against the cupboard wall, there is a big vent right in front of it.

See last photo.

X2 PC's sit in my rack, both have large vents in front of each front panel for air intake, there are large vent holes in back of each shelf and a big 200mm inline fan/ducting that sucks hot air from cupboard (if I shut the door) and exhaust it out side the house so we don't cook ourselves in summer

AM5 Sleep (S3) - Does it work for you?

What are your experiences with Sleep/Wake on AM5 chips also, do you have EXPO enabled for your RAM? (Apparently EXPO enabled leads to more failed wakes)

Getting cold feet about jumping from Intel to AMD as I have been hearing reports of systems not waking from sleep properly or causing EXPO issues after wake.

I use sleep mode a lot in day to day life but, I want that sweet, sweet 9800x3d boost in Flight Sim 2024.

Parts arriving soon:

R7 9800X3D

Tuf 870E Plus WiFi7

64GB 6000mhz cl30 Kingston Fury Ram

M.2 os drive

Windows 11

5080

If someone specificly has the Tuf 870E Plus WiFi7 board, are you able to please kindly confirm in CMD what sleep mods are available?

Type: "powercfg /a" without quotes into CMD and screenshot or past the response. (It's a generic prompt but, you can Google the CMD line first to verify it's not malicious or anything if you're unsure, I don't encourage trusting other if you arnt sure)

If it matters:

I'll be flashing to latests non-beta bios before CPU install

Enable EXPO I

Set the SoC volt to 1.2v (not sure if still needed to protect CPU?)

Turning off Fast Boot

Thanks!

Sleep (S3) on Tuf 870E Plus mobo 8900x3d

Long shot but, is anyone able to confirm sleep/wake is working fine for them?

Happy to hear from anyone on any AM5 board.
