Hi friends, I bought my first turntable Audio Technica AT-LP120Xusb, but I wanted to change this felt mat already included in the package with an acrylic one, (which I've read are among the best).

However, I discovered that my turntable does not have VTA and that I could ruin something if I change the components.

This felt mat is 2mm thick, while these acrylic ones are all around 3mm.

I did a lot of research on Amazon and also for other materials such as cork, silicone, rubber, etc... but the thickness always exceeds 2mm.

So I was wondering what mat you recommend, what material, which site where to buy them and above all if these 3mm acrylic ones are good or could they ruin the records or the sound, all advice is welcome.
