Why are some people in Tamil Nadu acting like every project going to Andhra Pradesh is “stolen”?

First it was that shoe company issue, now again with AMCA and Royal Enfield expansion talks. I genuinely don’t understand this reaction.

Tamil Nadu already has:

- Huge industrial ecosystem

- Big automobile manufacturing base

- Decades of stable governments

- Strong support during UPA era with major central portfolios

And good for them honestly, they built it well.

But AP is literally a newly divided state that lost Hyderabad, which was the biggest cash cow. Many promises after bifurcation were never fully fulfilled by the Centre. For years AP struggled without proper compensation/support.

Now finally because of 2024 politics, BJP needs support from AP parties like TDP/JSP and YCP(Indirectly). So obviously AP govt is trying hard to bring projects and investments before the political situation changes again after 2029.

How is that a problem?

If TN loses a project, DMK and TVK should question each other internally instead of dragging AP and calling it “stealing”. States compete for projects all the time. TN itself benefited massively in earlier years when they had strong influence at the Centre.

Why should only already-developed states keep growing while AP should just sit quietly?

Some people talk like they want TN to become China but don’t want neighboring states to industrialize at all.

A strong AP is good for South India too. More industries in AP doesn’t suddenly make TN poor.

Best smartphone under ₹15k for parents? Moto G45 seems out of stock everywhere

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to buy a phone for my mom in the ₹10k–15k range. Initially I found the Motorola G45 to be almost perfect for the price since it offers:

  • 8GB RAM
  • 128GB storage
  • 5000mAh battery
  • Clean Android experience

But unfortunately it seems to be out of stock everywhere Amazon, Flipkart, and even the Motorola website. I also checked offline stores like Poorvika and Sangeetha, but no luck there either.

Can you guys suggest the best phone under ₹15k for parents/general daily usage?

Find the map here on https://indianrailways.gov.in/index/index.html

Also includes the Siliguri - Varanasi - Delhi HSR.

Some noticable stations:
The Mumbai - Hyderabad HSR goes via Baramati and Pandharpur instead of Daund and Kurduvadi. Hyderabad is as of now a terminal station near Nanakramguda.

The Hyderabad Chennai HSR goes via Gattupal and Dachipalli instead of Nalgonda

The Chennai Hyderabad HSR goes via Tirupati Airport. Every major city has a HSR in the airport.

India has approved a new production facility in Andhra Pradesh ( Indian State )for its upcoming fifth-generation stealth fighter, the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA). The site, located near Puttaparthi, will span around 600 acres and is expected to handle manufacturing for roughly 140 aircraft.

The project is being led by DRDO, with support from the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA). Early-stage design, testing, and systems integration will continue to take place in Bengaluru before shifting toward full-scale production at the new facility. Major Indian private-sector firms like Tata Advanced Systems, Larsen & Toubro, and Bharat Forge have reportedly been shortlisted for participation.

According to the current timeline, the first AMCA prototype is targeted for rollout by September 2027, with a maiden flight planned for 2028. Full certification is expected around 2034. The overall program cost for the aircraft is estimated at ₹15,803 crore (~$1.9B USD for development).

The Andhra facility itself is expected to attract investments of about ₹1 lakh crore (~$12B USD), signaling a major push by India to expand its domestic fighter jet manufacturing capability and reduce reliance on imports.
