Radar Detector in Ontario

Hypocritically, if someone were going from USA to ON, Canada, would it be safe to leave their radar detectors up. Do cops there have RDDs? That person in question is rocking a Uniden R8.

IF its safe enough to leave it up, do cops mostly run KA band there?

Thanks guys

3D printer for ~$500?

Hey guys, im sure you get a crap ton of these but here I am 😅

I was looking at 3D printers and I wanted something that can print me multi/(mixed?) color items and can handle printing some at least 10x10x10 inches. I also saw that sometimes people are able to print like smooth-soft-plastic stuff, not sure what that filament is called.

In my research I found that bambu lab p1 and also the p2. Is the p2 actually worth the $200 more? How do they compare to the crealty?

Are there any other good and reliable 3d printers out there for around $500? I want something that I can use a good range of filaments in it. Speed and noise are also factors but don’t matter too much. More so reliability (how long it can last without me having to “fix it”). And how often the nozzle has to be changed.

2013 crv base fuse

Hi there everyone,

I have a 2013 crv and I’m trying to add an add a fuse / tap on one of the fuses to power my accessory that I want to turn off when the car turns off or after 5 mins. All the fuses ive tested thus far stay on for extended periods of tome after the car turns off. (Ive tested upto 30-45 mins after). Do you guys know what fuse I can tap? Please don’t say the acc one because it’s virtually impossible to tap that one due to where it is placed. I also have a 2020 chevy traverse that I want to do this with. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Uniden Hardwire Kit help

Hello there everyone,

I ordered a few uniden hardwire kits (the ones that come with the mute button) and I was researching online and in my head I thought that I can just tap the wire/blade into the interior fuse box by just sliding it next the cigarette lighter fuse, and then just putting the grounding wire on any metal part like the door or something. Is this the correct way to do this? I know some people have tapped into the ignition wire, but I’m not too comfortable doing that.

Please let me know what best worked for everyone and how they did it.

Thanks in advance
