Why are most brahmins woke (not just woke but an overall dangerous kind of woke)?
Disclaimer: I'm not a brahmin so I'm sorry if any of this sounds hurtful. This is just an observation.
As the title says, why are most brahmin folks especially brahmin women (doesn't mean men are innocent) super woke? When I say woke it doesn't mean just an LGBTQ ally or feminist but it also means that nearly half of the hatred against "brahmanwaad" and brahmins is promoted by rich, upper class, high society brahmins themselves. Almost all of the the "tilak tarazoo aur talwaar" protests at JNU are headed or controlled by a brahmin teacher sitting in middle of that and many news headlines of false "caste based violence" also get approved by senior journalist who happen to be brahmin. Even instagram comment section of influencers like Lakshay speaks has some Mishra/shrama/tiwari with "ashamed to be a brahmin" comment.
Ok this is a little funny but I have a similar incident that happened to me recently, I'm from a state with more than 60% GC population so it would make sense that there should've been more outrage against UGC guidelines in this state. I have been in some local student groups where we just talk about local/cultural things. In one such group where the admin was a brahmin guy around an year older than me (maybe idk his age that well) I started this topic about "hey maybe we should post on IG, reddit about how UGC guidelines seem a little unfair-". Before I could even finish I was told this is promoting casteism by the admin and that casteism has no place in this group. Then came a lecture on how much SC population struggles under authoritative caste groups and this is shameful to all of us so we should keep shut. I was even banned from the subreddit for the same thing.
Although all of this happened at the beginning of this year I felt like maybe I should ask some other brahmins the secret of this mind numbing woke.
Edit: Thanks for all the comments on this question. As you can tell the events in the post aren't really recent. The reason being I was quite afraid to post it on reddit because I thought I would get banned as soon as post this but the answers have been a really a positive response. Thank you for being civil, I was ready to get abused for stating all this which is why I used a fresh account.
Edit2: Thanks for the replies but I want this post to be more visible to get more answers as to why of all GC population mostly brahmins suffer from his disease of woke. Can anyone share this on r/Brahmanraaj . I would've done it but they have a minimum karma requirement. Thanks.
