I finally reached 999,999 EXP in King's Fields 2, 3, and 4

In KF2 It's worth it and not too bad if you grind the minibosses before Necron (around 500 EXP each). With these stats you can one-shot Guyra with a dagger or wind cutter, which is pretty cool. Getting the Moonlight Sword without hitting him is kind of a pain, though.

In KF3 it is NOT worth all the grinding at all, in fact if you want to kill King Alfred and Seath in the fewest possible attacks you should just grind the light stat instead. With 252 light I beat King Alfred with 2 uses of Triple Fang's level 2 sword magic and Seath died to 3 uses of the Orladin spell.

In KF4 I actually didn't grind specifically for EXP at all because grinding all weapons and spells to level 3 lasts well past the point of reaching 999,999 EXP. I did finish the spells and most weapons, but a few really basic weapons didn't seem worth grinding. Every enemy in the final area can be beaten in one hit with these stats.

Overall, it was fun. For KF1 I'll try to get a better computer so I can emulate the unofficial english patch at a decent framerate. KF2-4 were played on original hardware.

Apparently the Sadair's Spear will have the most pieces of any Technic set not counting 42100's cargo

The price turned me off but now I kind of want it because of this.

After much testing I have determined that, on the PS4 version, the first wtf value event's requirement has been changed from ≥6 to 13

After my first playthrough I looked up everything about wtf values and console version differences and I don't see this info anywhere so that's why I'm posting it.

So, on my second playthrough I knew to open the door for Mari in the prologue and then run straight to Sunny's mom's room and look above the bed. There was no Hellmari, but later I got 100 clams from Tiffany at Last Resort and everything else was consistent with wtf values 10-12. This told me the info online was incomplete.

Then, I started a new game until I got Hellmari in Sunny's mom's bed, being careful not to mess it up, and it took more than 20 tries. This would be odd if even 2 of the 13 wtf values would result in the event. When I finally did get it, playing through the whole game resulted in eventually seeing Humphrey swear and the shadow versions of the people helping Sunny and his mom move their stuff.

Why would a console version of the game include this change, you might ask. Well, unlike on PC, console players have no way to mod their wtf values. So the devs probably figured that giving console players the earliest possible way to check for wtf value 13 would make trying for it more reasonable. I don't own a Switch but it's likely the same there.
