First time ever using Meganium, I’m planning on using it as physical attacker with swords dance. Will likely teach it Earthquake when it’s available, but for most of Johto this will be the moveset.

Just after opinions on anyone else that has used it. I like my starter to be somewhat useful hence the attacking nature, and I don’t need the bulk with the other team members I have.

Also I’m after a 6th member (water type), was thinking Red Gyarados but then realised all my team would be physical? So now would like a special attack water type

Maybe Kingdra but I’m not sure how early I can get a Dragon Scale?

So I’m currently shiny hunting my starter for my next HG playthrough, I’ve decided whichever starter shines first I’ll be going with. A way of letting my starter choose me this time.

Only other pokemon I’d like to use no matter who shines is Scizor, so I’m looking for suggestions on who to use depending which starter I go with.

For example a surfer if I don’t use Feraligatr, fire type if no Typhlosion etc.

Also a flyer, likely between Crobat, Noctowl, or Togetic.

Just looking for ideas while I shiny hunt!

Looking for ideas/opinions on the final 6th team member. Would love Tyranitar as I always love a suedo-legendary, but interested to see what others think this team is “missing” quality wise.

Togetic will be getting evolved after first elite 4, but happy with waiting for that

So after my post last night on a Sceptile team, I think this is what I’m going for.

Just looking for suggestions on moves for anything I might not have thought of yet.

I’d like to eventually get Crunch on Sceptile, so believe I need to breed my starter with Seviper, hopefully not too late in the game.

Flygon will be my flyer, along with Dragon Breath and EQ stab as Sceptile will be getting the Dragon Claw TM.

Starting a new save in Pokemon Sapphire, but thought I’d ask in here as there’s a lot of active members.

I like to choose the starter that best fits the protagonist so I’m going with Sceptile for this run.

The other Pokemon I plan on using are Absol, and probably Swellow for my flyer. Open to suggestions for any other slots.

A few I’m debating are:
- Walrein
- Flygon
- Medicham
- Breloom
- Aggron
- Magneton
- Manectric

New save starting tonight, I’ve restarted countless times over the years without getting into Kanto, so I’m planning this to be a VERY long term save. Potentially a forever save.

This is team I’m planning for Johto, but I’d maybe like to switch it up slightly in Kanto. Similar to how the Elite 4 teams change for the rematches.

I’d maybe like to add Electivire for Ampharos. I’m very much a fan of power and speed in play through, with maybe one bulky type (Slowking)

Happy to hear suggestions for either current team or Kanto editions!

As the title says, I’m purely after any thoughts or opinions on these trades.

Me personally I’m really happy. I’m 6 months into learning trading, 2 months into paper trading, and this is the first time I’ve properly managed to sit down at 11am, be patient, and wait for a good stock to pump with breaking news, then find a gold entry and exit. (I’m in UK so 11am is 6am ET time, these stocks broke around 12/1ish, 7/8am premarket ET).

My daily target is £100, if I can do that consistently then I’d eventually look at using real money.

Not looking for any compliments or praise, if there’s nothing to say then so be it. Any thoughts at all are welcome

About to start a Sapphire playthrough, aiming to become Champion before moving onto Heartgold in Johto (where the character is originally from).

Thoughts on my current planned team, and suggestions for my final member?

Open to suggestions for any changes, only two I’m set on are Blaziken and Manectric
