Which model do you use in Copilot in Excel?

For those using Copilot directly inside Excel to reason through large or complex spreadsheets, do you prefer Auto, GPT-5.6 or Opus 5? Have you noticed any meaningful difference in how well they understand and work through the workbook?

Which GPT 5.6 are we getting in Copilot chat (Sol, Terra or Luna)

There's no way for an end user to tell if its Sol or Terra and what level of reasoning is being used. Anyone here with admin visibility or knowledge of what it actually is?

Does Kimi K3 change the distillation debate?

Kimi K3’s third-place ranking on the Artificial intelligence index seems difficult to reconcile with the idea that Chinese models depend heavily on distillation from the latest US leaders. Fable 5 and GPT‑5.6 came online only a few days ahead of Kimi K3, so it is unlikely that they were distilled for K3. Older Claude outputs may have aided post-training, but K3 appears to reflect substantial chinese innovation.

Has anyone spotted GPT-5.6 in their M365 Copilot yet?

Curious whether anyone has seen GPT-5.6 appear in their M365 Copilot. In my experience (based in the UK), I tend to get new models about a week after OpenAI launches them publicly — so wondering if others are seeing it roll out yet or have any idea of the timeline.

OpenAI Says AI Should Be for Everyone. Not Just the Elite. Do You Buy It?

TL;DR: OpenAI just published their plan for making AI universally accessible, not a privilege for the few. Key goals: give every person on Earth a personal AGI, automate AI research to solve alignment, and broadly distribute economic benefits. They're pushing for international coordination and human oversight as systems get more powerful.

Personally I'm behind the idea of AI for everyone, but curious what others think, is this a genuine commitment or just PR? Is broad access even achievable without compromising safety? and isn't limiting access a way of discriminating e.g Anthropic giving some banks access to Mythos to fix their vulnerabilities but what about the banks, hospitals, public infrastructure in Africa, South America, Asia?
