Menthol mouthwash, is it safe for severe defficiency?
The AI tools say to avoid it, but most mouthwashes contain menthol. I'm confused I hear mixed opinions, what do you think?

Hi, so I did some blood tests and my hct and hgb were quite low (28.7 and 9.6). I have thal b minor but these were a lot lower than my baseline. My hematologist gave me a supplement therapy and told me that my bilirubin should lower too (total was 4.3, quite high). I'm still on therapy. Did anyone else have a similar experience or know how much my bilirubin can lower if hct and hgb normalize? For reference, last year my hct was 33 and bilirubin 1.95, which I found weird because my eyes were quite yellow back then, maybe it didn't stay enough this low for my eyes to clear up. Both the hematologist and gastrentologist agreed that my bilirubin was quite high for gilbert's and hct quite low. And both said my bilirubin should lower if the others increase. But should I expect a big change? Or will it be minimal?
My folic acid levels are>25
Can b12 defficiency worsen jaundice significantly? I have thalassemia b minor and my b12 levels were 341, which is considered normal but in the lower side and I'm wondering whether supplementing with b12 to raise my levels (600+) would make a difference. Also I'm not sure if the normal for me, is different from an average person who doesn't have the Thalassemia trait
My b12 levels were 341. The normal range is about 200-900. I was wondering whether I need to supplement with b12 to increase my levels, even though my doctor didn't suggest anything. But shouldn't the "normal" for us be higher than an average person without thalassemia?
I've heard many people with Gilbert's claim that the jaundice worsened after they removed their gallbladder and that they regretted it
