I’ll be clearing out some of my grandmother’s bookshelf over the next week and would love to drop them off at a LFL that’s currently looking empty. Lots of cookbooks, so they’re tall books

Cicada of some sort? Male or female?

This cicada(?) crash landed onto my desk at the park where I work today so I grabbed a pen to help it find its way back to a tree. I’m curious if anyone knows what kind of cicada (or something else?) and if it is male or female.
