Would it be a dumb idea to wrap an AW11 in a OEM color instead of waiting for one with my preferred color to pop up on the market?

Been looking for any blue AW11 in my area for sale, but most of them are either white, red, or sometimes silver. From what I know, blues don't really hold up in the sun well over time, so even if i found one in my preferred color of Dark Blue Pearl, it'd likely need some work done to make it look the best.

Then again, ive never wrapped a car/had a shop wrap one, so i have no idea about the intricacies of the process and if it might damage the original paint underneath. Any tips/advice is greatly appreciated!

2000 Celica GT-S serpentine belt squeals when cold, and temperature gauge doesnt reach operating temp, only goes up 1/3 of the way after my 20min commute. Help needed!

As the title says, I definitely need some help pinpointing the cause of a couple problems with my new-to-me 2000 GT-S.

First, my serpentine belt squeals/squeaks while it's cold and warming up. Under the car's last owner, the belt was last replaced at 93k miles in Feburary of 2011, so I'm thinking it either might need to be replaced entirely, or it may just be loose and needs a new tensioner.

Next, my temperature gauge tells me the engine is only heating up 1/3 of the way when it should be perfectly in the middle after only a few minutes of driving. My coworker/technician at Toyota tells me the cause is likely the thermostat being stuck open, since it'd likely show a light on the dashboard if the temperature sensor was to blame.

Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated! I'll try to get back to each reply as soon as I can to clear up any information

Best OEM+ shocks for my 7th gen GT-S?

Hi all, I bought a 2000 Celica GT-S yesterday, and was recommended to replace the struts by the tech at the dealership I work at. Both rear shocks are kinda oily/greasy/leaking (as seen in the photos attached), and the fronts are worn and the boots are torn.

A quick Google search tells me that the KYB Excel-G is closest to factory fit, while being 10% stiffer than stock. If you guys have any other recommendations, please let me know!

Are Mugen Si's genuinely worth the hype?

I've been thinking of buying for a Mugen Si for quite some time now, but I'm sorta unsure if I should get one. Personally, I love how they look way more than a standard 8th gen Civic Si, however the premium they command is quite a bit more than said standard Si.

Some feedback would definitely be appreciated from you guys, especially if you've driven/owned one before and can attest to it more thoroughly. Thanks in advance!

Are the tires on an MR2 Spyder supposed to look like this? Model year is 2000, fronts are 185 width and the rears are 205
