When dice go bad.
This should keep my dice from rolling bad. Nobody wants to be in the shame chair, wearing a dunce cap or going to dice jail!

I noticed in Fluidd on my U1, there are all these 'T' options for the Tools.
so far I've been unable to determine what they are for exactly. I'm assuming it's the extruder but if that's the case, it should be T0-T3.
Note: I do have the extended firmware installed, however I want to say I saw this prior to flashing it.
Printed these cat 'Ying yang' coasters on my U1. The black is overture and the gold is (transparent) gold 95A tpu. Took 2hra 40min to print (did them at the same time). Extremely happy how they turned out.

Out of the 3, the 3rd is my favourite for being compact and travel ready. I could even store my dice in the tower and fold it up.
The second is great for the nice sound that the dice make when they roll down.
The first is really nice visual. The only problem is my dice are sharp corners, and the D20 and D6 will get stick. I also have metal dice and they are completely unuseable on this tower.
^(I'm aware I had stringing on the first and third prints. I realized afterwards that I hadn't put them in the drier before printing.)
Received my U1 the other day and so far I've been absolutely loving it. Watching the toolheads change on a multi-colour print is so cool. This is my new multicolour printer (Sorry K2 Pro).
One thing I've noticed though, and this is both with regular OrcaSlicer and Snap Orca, is they don't pull the filament that's been loaded. I have to manually set it. Now, I am just using a 'generic' profile, if that matters.
OrcaSlicer tells me that it can't connect to Snapmaker U1 (but it can see it in the devices tab and test works).
Snap Orca doesn't have an option that I can see to automatically bring in the filament.
Am I doing something wrong here?
As an aside, I have flashed the latest extended firmware to the printer.
Will sit happily next to my K2 Pro, Sparkx i7, modified K1 Max and K1C. This will be my new multicolour printer for sure (unless I need to print something that needs the K2 Pro bed). I'm really excited!
I've been seeing more listings for Star ptfe tube, but really no reviews or comparisons.
I'm in need of more, and wondering if anyone has any insight into whether or not the start ptfe is actually better?
Was noticing issues when printing from slots 1 and 2 on my cfs, and figured it was overdue for some maintenance. Bought new ptfe tube with a slightly larger internal diameter to improve flow, and when I removed the original tubes, well, this is what I found.
Slots 1 and 2 were both like this, 3 was showing signs of failure (but not worn all the way through). Slot 4 still looked new.
Don't skimp on your maintenance!
