Can a complete beginner repair this drywall corner before moving out? Looking for the cheapest DIY option.

Hi everyone,
I’m moving out of my apartment soon and accidentally damaged one of the drywall corners (photo attached).
I’ve never repaired drywall before, so I’m wondering:
Is this something a complete beginner can realistically repair?
Does the metal corner bead need to be replaced, or can I repair what’s already there?
What’s the cheapest way to fix this myself?
What materials and tools would I need?
Would a trip to Home Depot for a few inexpensive supplies be enough?
Is there anything in the photo that I’m overlooking?
Are there any YouTube videos or tutorials that you’d recommend for someone who’s never done drywall repair before? I’d love to follow a guide that’s beginner-friendly and shows this type of corner repair specifically.
I’m trying to avoid hiring someone if this is a reasonable DIY project. I don’t need it to be absolutely perfect—I just want it to look good enough to pass my apartment move-out inspection.
Any advice, product recommendations, or tutorial links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Has anyone dealt with this in California?

[CA] I recently gave my 30-day notice, and my apartment manager sent me a move-out letter saying:
“Carpets must be professionally shampooed and cleaned. If you decide to hire a company to professionally shampoo your carpets and to clean your apartment, you must give the receipt to the manager.”
The thing is, my lease never mentions that I have to have the carpets professionally cleaned at move-out or provide a receipt.
Has anyone been in a similar situation in California? Did your landlord actually require a professional cleaning receipt, or was vacuuming/cleaning the carpet yourself enough? If you didn’t get it professionally cleaned, did they deduct it from your security deposit?
I’m trying to figure out whether this is something they can require if it wasn’t in the lease, or if they’re just asking for it as part of their standard move-out letter.

Hey everyone! I’ve got an upcoming interview with Atomic Semi (it’s for an infrastructure-focused internship). If anyone’s interviewed with them before—whether intern or other roles—what kind of questions did they ask? Was it mostly technical, or more about past projects? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
