How to get rid of chicken skin on arms?

Does anyone else deal with chicken skin on their arms? For me, the chicken skin is pretty  stubborn. It’s been visible on my skin for as long as i remember. The bumps always flare up whenever my skin gets dry, so I have been layering on the moisture, also heard that certain exfoliating acids can help with the redness, so I’ve been testing those out. It’s definitely helped a little but it’s still very noticeable. I have been wondering if maybe I should try a prescription strength retinoid or also heard some girl talkin bout laser hair removal, what do you guys think, what’s worked or hasn't worked for you?

Why does my skin look dull and dry even tho I drink a lot of water?

I have been trying to fix my skin by drinking more water. Like i am hitting my daily goals, carrying a bottle everywhere, all that.

But my skin still looks tired. No glow, kinda dull, and feels rough in certain spots no matter what i do. Its not dehydrated in the usual way either, just off.

At this point im wondering if water even makes a difference for skin or if i am missing something else in my routine.

What actually helps you get that healthy look back?

Best skincare for sensitive dry skin 2026?

so my skin does this thing where everytime i use skincare that is expensive, or it has fragrance, it acts up. i am really selective when it comes to skincare and i don't look at the price when i am buying them, but for some reason the most expensive ones make my skin irritated or red. i always thought that the more money it costs the better effect it will have, but that's not the case here.

i wanna know, what products are best for sensitive and dry skin. i need suggestions i am desperate.

Why do thick moisturizers feel like i am wrapping my face in plastic wrap?

I have combination skin with some sensitive areas and kp on my arms, so naturally i need hydration. Cool. But every time i try a moisturizer that's actually thick enough to do something, my face turns into an oil slick within two hours and i break out the next day.

So i try the lightweight stuff. Serums, gel moisturizers, hydrating essences. My skin feels better in the moment but by afternoon im dry again and the texture gets worse. I have tried everything with humectants, ceramides, peptides. Nothing sticks around.

The kp bumps on my arms respond to thicker creams, but my face absolutely refuses to cooperate. My sensitive skin acts up if i skip the moisturizer entirely, but also acts up if i use the right amount of a good one.

I am not even asking for perfect skin at this point, i just want to find something that hydrates. Do people with combination skin just live like this or have I been doing something wrong for years?

Hey you all,

I am trying to decide between First Aid Beauty and Kiehl’s for my sensitive skin. My skin is really dry and gets irritated easily, so I need something that hydrates well without causing flare ups. Here's what i know about both of them:

Kiehl’s known for its Ultra Facial Cream and Calendula Toner. Their products feel a bit more luxurious and are also great for dry skin, but I am not sure how they'd fare on super sensitive skin.

First Aid Beauty seems to focus a lot on sensitive skin, especially with products like the Ultra Repair Cream and Face Cleanser. Ive heard their stuff is great for eczema and dryness, and its gentle on the skin.

Has anyone tried both and which one worked better for sensitive skin? Id really appreciate some help/suggestion.

Picture this: client messages at 8pm the night before our big Rome tour saying they're too sick to go. Fair enough, stuff happens. I jump into hero mode, email the supplier immediately with all the details, begging for a cancellation or reschedule because their policy is buried in some fine print hieroglyphics that nobody reads.

Cue 6 emails over two days. First one: radio silence. Second: 'Check our policy.' Third: policy link that 404s. Fourth: 'Submit a ticket.' Fifth: ticket response saying 'policy says no refund.' Sixth: me attaching doctor's note, proof of booking, my firstborn, whatever it takes. Finally they agree to a partial credit, but only because I cc'd their manager and sounded one meltdown away from showing up at their office with a gladiator costume.

Meanwhile client's understanding but now thinks I'm the disorganized one who can't wrangle suppliers. Pro tip to self: looking unprofessional in Italy is like showing up to a pizza party with kale chips. Meanwhile I'm out the time, the stress, and whatever tiny commission evaporates.
