Applying for scholarships and merit based aid w/o a standardized test

My child is a great student (3.6 GPA / 5.95 weighted) who is heavily involved in community service and athletics. However, they don’t take standardized tests well. I’ve suspected they have a borderline learning disability or ADHD.

Most scholarships and merit based aid I see posted typically require a SAT or ACT. Are there ways around this or options for someone who fit the profile I described? Any advice would be really appreciated.

Multi-leg Family Trip

Planning to travel from the US -> Barcelona -> Milan -> US next summer. What’s the best strategy for booking a trip with multiple legs? I was looking at Google flights earlier and the prices seem competitive for 3 of us. Any advice on how to make this smooth?

eGFR Rapid Decline

Had my annual physical last week. 50 y/o male. Family history of kidney cancer. All the metrics were solid except my eGFR. It declined from 95 to 86 to 76 in a year. Creatinine went from around .85 to 1.17 over that time but was not flagged as abnormal.

Whats changed in a year:
- TRT
- Added sermoreline in February
- Much higher protein ratio in diet
- Lost 4% bodyfat 28.4% to 24.4% while maintaining body weight

I’m waiting on a call back from my PCP, but wondered if anyone has experienced similar results from adding TRT or sermoreline.

I have a base 2017 Cayman. Last week I upgraded to a Soul catted exhaust to make sure I pass Texas inspections. In addition, I added a Raggdollz turbo inlet. That actually requires a bit of cutting and my mechanic was super nervous. Along with an ECU tune, this car drives completely different. I wish I had done this a few years back. Parts and installation were around $8k, but this was easily the best money I’ve spent.

Has anyone used a company like Second Street Mortgage in CR to finance an American style mortgage? I like the idea of financing a property versus paying cash for the obvious reason you can reduce risk should a country become politically unstable (you’d have less capital tied up versus an outright cash purchase). Primarily looking at luxury properties in Reserva Conchal or Las Catalinas. Any advice on this kind of strategy? Can you describe the process?
