Room update - walls painted, need window coverings and ceiling color

Hi all! I came here looking for wall color suggestions last week, but we went with BM Ballet White.

Now I need ceiling color recommendations - any thoughts? This has always been the color of our ceiling since buying the house. No idea what it is. Do I just pull Ballet White into ceiling since lighter than trim, or will that be too washed out?

Second chair coming soon!

Also, I know there was some heartache on my original post regarding sofa placement, but the room is tricky and I’d hate to block the only windows we have in this room so I was hesitant to put sofa in front of them.

Still shopping for some additional small wall decor and pillows!

Paint color recommendations

*I need help. Current wall color from this room’s prior use is SW Oyster Bay and too blue with new furniture. Trim/windows are similar to SW Softer Tan at about 97% strength (see pics of trim/doors near SW White Duck walls for an idea) and I have no idea what the ceiling color is. My goal is to lighten the seating area space because it can look cooler/dreary many parts of the day and I want something new*

I have a room I’m repurposing - it was a formal dining room and I now want it to be a hangout/readinf/coffee/board game room.

The couch and chairs (second one coming soon), light fixture, buffet, mirror and coffee table are all new.

I’m so stuck on which direction to go for paint color. It faces south but does not get a ton of natural light because of front porch overhang. Every color looks cooler (more blue/gray/“muddy”) in here than one would think.

Any recommendations using Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore colors?

Emerald Isle Condo feedback

Hello. My family and I are looking at visiting the area for the first time this summer vs. OBX. I have a 5 and 8 year old and see there are still condo vacation rentals available in Pier Pointe, Village West, and Pebble Beach associations. I’m a little nervous that there are so many available in Pier Pointe and wondering if that is a sign of cleanliness or other issues. Anyone have experience with any of these neighborhoods/buildings?
