Game not saving progres
Hey what’s up with d2r not saving my progress sometimes?
I recently started playing SP RotW and realized my act2 progress is not saved at all. It had happened before with minor stuff but not all my a2 progress is gone and I already was in the tombs.
Has anyone experienced that too?

Worst HC online experience
The worst HC feeling ever when playing online is when you get lagged, loose connection and then come back to see your character dead.
It just happened to me and I’m annoyed.. was running hell Andy, was in a pretty safe spot, but then lag, dc and dead. Welp, the way she goes

That’s probably one of the dumbest thing elmon ever said. Not even Dario or Sammy went that dumb regarding AI and coding.
It’s so dumb on millions of levels but I’m going to mention only 2 things, because can’t waste time.
Let probabilistic model generate sequence of 0s and 1s. What could go wrong? No human can understand it either
Binary often uses offset from memory addresses on CPU. When you want to introduce change, like tiniest change in functionality, the whole thing might need to be regenerated, instead of changing “red” to “blue” in source code. And now look at point 1 again.

I opened this door in the catacombs and heard Andariel yelling "NO MR LAHEY NOT ANOTHER NIGHT OF SHITABYSS PLEASE", but I looked at shit barometer and shit pressure was high in the air and did not show mercy.
In classic 1.0, Andariel will rush towards you a second after you open the door. No time to kill smaller mobs, it gets real immediately so be prepared! Andariel drop was absolute trash - I have not much luck with act boss drops so far.
It's been a few days, but I wasn't screwing around. I did a bunch of A4 river nightmare runs and once I got a little stronger I started chaos sanctuary. I got to lvl 42 and then went to hell...
The difference in difficulty level Hell vs Nightmare isn't as drastic as it is in later versions. No immunities, monsters have less hp. However there are some quirks - might aura is absolutely OP. This dude knocked me down in one hit. Must have been sexy muscular Julian with his little mustard glass.
Many more unique monsters have aura modifier, so you gotta be careful. Also, once you kill the boss aura lingers for 10 or so seconds, so other mobs are still affected (or you still have conviction effect for a bit longer). Pala could do double aura with swapping back and forth.
Still rocking that Tarnhelm and Chancies, but changed great maul to that nice pike I got from Halbu guy. Fun fact: Halbu and Jamella don't have "Talk" option. I can't remember if they do now, but back in the day they weren't very talkative I guess.
I also noticed, the bosses in Hell drop normal potions almost always. Sounds buggy to me. Not greater / super potion in Hell mode but normal useless potions that restore like 50 hp.
Alright, I'll keep you updated guys and run some cows on NM once I get stronger, they still wreck me.
