Could I like other Lisa Jewell books?

I read Lisa Jewell's "Then she was Gone" and I really didn't care for it at all. It seemed very wordy and the story itself just seemed....odd. I don't want to say more since it would give away the mystery. Are all Lisa Jewell books similar in the wordiness and strange storyline? Or is it possible I would still enjoy some of her other books? I've been avoiding books by her since reading the one I did, but I wouldn't mind trying others from her, if I can get a little bit of assurance that they aren't all similar in those two issues

I really enjoy the writing by Sophie Hannah, if that's any help in reference to what I'm searching for in a book

I hope this is the correct subreddit for this, if not, would someone be willing to point me to where is? Thank you

Does anyone happen to remember the name of this lifetime movie?

I am 100% sure it was a lifetime movie and pretty positive it aired in the early 2000s, but could have possibly been late 90s. I'm also relatively sure it was 4 hours long (with commercials), but I'm not positive

It was about a woman who leaves a domestic violence situation (a couple of times) and ends up in a domestic violence shelter. She meets another woman who is also leaving a DV situation and they become friends (they also both have children I'm pretty sure) and that woman's ex husbands finds her, and stabs her in front of the main character. I think it MIGHT have been based on a true story. I can't remember anything else but I would really like to watch it again

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Literally the best ice cream I have ever tasted

And I'm so mad at myself for even trying it because I'm really trying to eat healthy! Ah well, it was worth it
