This started as a flat wall…

Installation of electric fire and dummy chimney breast with tv recess. Returned to after the plasterers had skimmed it and the customer had painted… to fit new skirting boards to the front and both sides, screw the sockets and tv connections back to their mounting boxes and then installed tv bracket Turned out really nice I think. What about yourselves?

Quick heads up to anyone who used A6 derby (inbound) 5 lamps…..

For some reason the texaco/ Asda petrol station is drawing their electricity from a generator that is blocking the exit on the side that heads towards the cathedral. Just keep your wits about you as people are using the entrance as an exit and it’s catching many people out.

One I completed last week

Hwam wood burner with a dura flue stainless steel, rigid insulated sectional flue exiting at 45 degrees. Stove is connected to an external air kit. Teardrop shaped 20mm thick honed granite hearth. Hole through the wall was done from outside on a tower scaffold using a diaquip core drill, connected to a 250mm diamond core bit mounted to the wall via the diaquip mounting jig.

Jotul f163 stove installed with a dura flue twin wall rigid sectional stainless steel flue system 150mm (6”) through upper floor and terminating through tiles
