Anyone had issues using Applegreen chargers?

I was at the UK's Hopwood Park Services yesterday and every time I plugged (my 2026 Kona EV) in to an Applegreen charger I was told to make sure the charger was plugged in before I paid, despite the charger already being in. It was also showing the charge as being 'complete' despite having only just plugged in and no charging having took place. I'm curious to know if I'm doing something wrong as I'm new to EV charging.

To add insult to injury, I couldn't use any of the nearby Tesla chargers as it was a Welcome Break services and all the Tesla chargers were only for Tesla owners!

Infuriating!

Has Toby Whitehouse ever expressed interest in being showunner? Was he ever approached?

The fact he wrote a great scifi/ fantasy drama for the BBC already in Being Human, and did some great Who episodes - notably The God Complex - has always left me wondering if he ever wanted to or was approached to take over from Moffat or Chiball. Does anyone know?

Wireless Android Auto no longer an option?

When I got my 2026 Hyundai Kona Electric 165kW Ultimate in March I could use Android Auto wirelessly as long as I had bluetooth on. But this functionality seems to have disappeared (perhaps because of an upgrade on either my phone or the car?) and now I can only use it with the USB plugged in. Has anyone else had this issue and do they know how to resolve it?

With caveat I'm going to buy something refurbished from 2024-5.

All my research is pointing me to the Samsung Galaxy S24. My only qualm is that I always get Samsung phones and would like to try something new.

I'm tempted by the Pixel 9 Pro but the negative reviews of it's Tensor chip/ performance put me off. I'd definitely be trading overall phone performance for good photogrpahy.

Xiaomi 14 or 15: Tempted by one of these, but they're a bit hard to find in the UK refurbished.

I have a 2026 Kona EV. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know how to fix it? I can still connect via Bluetooth but I can't connect to Android auto to use the apps on my phone on the infotainment system.
