[22/M] Looking for a long-term pen pal 📮🇮🇳🌍

Hi! I'm Prashant, 22, from Delhi, India. भारत की ओर से नमस्ते

For the past few years, I've been chasing my dream through competitive exams. It hasn't been an easy journey, but it's taught me resilience. Hopefully, I'll be starting a new chapter abroad soon.

I'm looking for a genuine, long-term pen pal who enjoys conversations beyond small talk. I'd love to exchange thoughts about life, personal growth, dreams, struggles, history, heritage, geopolitics, geography, travel, cultures, and even the occasional fun gossip. I believe everyone has a story worth sharing.

Outside of studying, I help manage my family's rental property. I also enjoy Postcrossing, handwritten letters, collecting stamps, reading, writing, plants, and I love adding pressed flowers, leaves, or Indian stamps to my letters.

I'd especially enjoy hearing different perspectives from women ...I think social media often creates misunderstandings between men and women, and I'd rather understand people through honest conversations than algorithms.

I'm curious, thoughtful, optimistic, sensitive, and a good listener. I believe growth begins outside your comfort zone, and I hope one day we can look back and say:

We watched each other grow through different phases of life.

If this resonates with you, I'd love to hear your story. ✉️🌿

From India with Stamps, Stories, and Kindness ❤️ 🇮🇳 to 🇬🇧🇺🇦🇺🇸🇵🇱

📮 Greetings from India! 🇮🇳

These are some of the postcards I've sent across the world. Every postcard is more than just paper and ink it's a small piece of kindness traveling across borders.

For me, Postcrossing is like unpaid therapy. In a world that moves so fast, these little human-to-human connections bring comfort, hope, and remind me that strangers can become friends.

If you're into postcards, handwritten letters, or would like to become pen pals, I'd love to connect. 🌍💙

[Request] Help Me Surprise My Parents on Their 35th Anniversary [India]

Hi everyone,

Today, 21 June, my mom and dad complete 35 years of marriage.

They are simple, hardworking people who have spent most of their lives taking care of our family. They have seen difficult times together, supported each other through everything, and never gave up on their relationship. They don't really celebrate anniversaries or expect gifts. Usually, it's just another day for them.

This year, I want to do something different.

My parents have never received postcards or cards from other countries before. They don't know much about Postcrossing or communities like this. I know that if cards start arriving from different parts of the world, they will be genuinely surprised and happy. I can already imagine my mother carefully keeping every card and my father asking, "Someone from this country wrote to us?"

I want to read every card to them and make this anniversary feel special.

If you'd like to send a card, I have one small request: please don't write formal messages that you would find on Google or an AI-generated greeting. Instead, write something real. Tell them about your parents, your partner, your grandparents, a marriage tradition in your country, a lesson about love you've learned, or simply a memory that means something to you. I'd love for them to read genuine words and little pieces of life from around the world.

Even a few cards would mean a lot to us and would become memories my parents will keep for years.

Thank you for helping me celebrate 35 years of love and togetherness. 🤍

The Italian Academy : Foundation Course 2026/27

Hi everyone,

Is anyone here studying or applying for the Italian Academy International Foundation Year (Medicine, Engineering, Business, Arts, etc.)?

I wanted to know your honest experience there:

:- How are the classes and teachers?

:- How do you feel about the overall environment?

:- What are the living/housing conditions like?

:- Do we have to take their accommodation only, or can we rent outside accommodation independently?

Would really appreciate real student experiences before applying.

Thanks!

Teramo acceptance & pre-enrollment

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask students who applied to the University of Teramo this year.

I already received the pre-acceptance letter from Teramo (I attached the image), and I already completed my pre-enrollment on Universitaly.

Now I am waiting for the pre-enrollment summary, but I’m getting anxious because I ignored other universities’ deadlines while waiting for Teramo.

So I want to ask:

If someone already got the pre-acceptance letter and completed pre-enrollment, is it generally safe? Will the pre-enrollment summary come sooner or later anyhow, or can there still be issues/rejection later?

I’m worried about missing all options in the end if Teramo also does not send the summary.

Anyone else in the same situation and still waiting for the pre-enrollment summary from Teramo?

Thanks a lot.

[Request] Cards for encouragement [India]

Hi everyone,

The last 4 years of competitive exam preparation have been emotionally exhausting for me, and recently receiving a university rejection affected me deeply. Lately I’ve been feeling mentally drained and overwhelmed.

I really enjoy receiving and reading cards or postcards from different people and places. Small acts of kindness genuinely mean a lot to me right now. I think it's me who 21 there might be my elders also here who been through this phase ..so they can understand me better.

If anyone would like to send a card or postcard, I would truly appreciate it.

Thank you 🤍

[Request] Looking for cards or kind notes during a difficult phase [India]

Hi everyone,

The last few years have been emotionally exhausting for me due to competitive exam preparation, and recently receiving a university rejection affected me more than I expected.

After spending around 4 years in this cycle of pressure, uncertainty, and trying again, I’ve been feeling mentally drained lately. I realized that small human connections and kind words can genuinely mean a lot during difficult times.

I really enjoy reading handwritten cards, postcards, letters, or kind notes from different people and places. There’s something comforting about hearing thoughts, encouragement, stories, or even simple words from strangers around the world.

I keep every card and letter I receive because they become meaningful memories to me.

If anyone would like to send a small card, postcard, or note, I would truly appreciate it.

Thank you for reading 🤍

one who felt same during there academic era can relate ۔۔۔۔۔

Hey everyone,

I’m applying for the Foundation Year at Tor Vergata, and I’m stuck on the document upload step.

The portal is asking for a CIMEA Statement of Verification, or alternatively legalized + translated documents with Apostille. But right now, I don’t have CIMEA, and the system is not letting me proceed without uploading something—it keeps showing an error.

I’m confused about a few things:

- Is CIMEA mandatory for applying, or can we upload something else for now?

- Has anyone applied without CIMEA and still submitted the application successfully?

- If yes, what exactly did you upload in that section?

- Should we wait for CIMEA first or apply with Apostille documents?

Also, considering timelines and pre-enrollment stress, waiting for CIMEA might delay everything…

If anyone has already completed this step for Tor Vergata, please share what you did 🙏

Let’s help each other out—this part is seriously confusing.

If you’re also stuck here, drop a comment. Maybe we can figure this out together or make a group.

Hey everyone,

Trying to understand what’s actually going on with Foundation Year applications this year because timelines feel all over the place.

How many of you applied to Pisa, Tor Vergata, Siena, Parma, Ca’ Foscari or other universities?

- How many got accepted?

- How many are still waiting?

- When did you apply?

From what I’m seeing, a few people already got acceptances and even paid fees… while a lot of us are just stuck refreshing emails like it’s a full-time job 😭

I applied to Pisa on March 17, and still no response. (On 13 they sent mail saying, we getting more mails ...they will reply us asap)

At this point, the silence is louder than rejection lol.

What’s making it worse is that pre-enrollment has already started, and that’s stressing me out. Like… how are we supposed to proceed without university acceptance?

And then there’s the 120% rule, which honestly just adds more pressure and confusion to everything.

So what are you guys doing right now?

- Waiting it out?

- Applying to backup universities?

- Moving ahead with pre-enrollment anyway?

Drop your timelines below (Applied → Accepted/Still Waiting).

Let’s figure this out together and maybe make a group chat too.

We’re all in the same chaos boat rn 🚤🇮🇹

Not promoting anything, just sharing something that genuinely helped me.

I came across a Telegram community for IMAT prep, and honestly… it’s way more useful than I expected.

They’re sharing:

- IMAT-level questions & PYQs

- Clean PDFs & notes

- Mock papers

- Actual strategy discussions (not random noise)

But the part that stood out for me 👇

They shared a printable IMAT OMR sheet.

I tried it… and yeah, reality check hit hard.

Practicing on screen ≠ real exam.

That OMR practice in a 100-minute timer feels completely different.

It actually helps with:

- Time pressure

- Accuracy while bubbling

- Staying focused for the full duration

Felt way closer to the real exam than normal mocks.

If you’re preparing seriously for IMAT 2026, this might be worth checking out.

It's about practice practice + Strategy and Giving mocks like exam like situation

100 Minutes

Pen & Paper

OMR Copy
