I’m staying in a house in Sweden for a month with my baby and husband and (after 2.5 weeks) I’ve just discovered it has asbestos cement cladding all around it (photo attached). We have a week and a half left and I’m feeling very nervous about it now. I’ve never lived with asbestos before as far as I’m aware (although I’m sure I have had it around me unknowingly as I’m a 90s kid from the UK). Is this ok and is there anything I need to be aware of or look out for for us and our baby?
Just to add I’ve noticed a few cracks in it in the stair well but they look old not fresh
I’m not sure this is the right channel to post this in but I had an ectopic pregnancy (conceived naturally) in March 2024 and had my right fallopian tube removed. They told me afterwards that my left one looked fine but had some scar tissue that was attaching it to my pelvis so they cleared that. They told me to try naturally after this for a few months and if I didn’t conceive then to go to IVF.
I felt quite scared to try naturally in case I had another ectopic so after a couple of months we went down the IVF route and I’ve now got an 8 month old baby and thinking about baby number 2.
IVF was quite hard and is obviously very pricy if you go private so I’m curious if anyone else had the same diagnosis after an ectopic pregnancy (some scarring around their other tube) and still got pregnant with the tube naturally despite scar tissue outside of it/touching it?
Jumping ahead here but wondering whether to try naturally for any future pregnancies or go straight to IVF again!
