23M | Looking for someone who can drag me out of my work-life loop 😂

Honestly, I don't even know if people are actually looking for all the things everyone writes in these posts 😂

“Meaningful conversations, long drives, random walks, exploring places, watching sunsets, growing together…”

Sounds pretty, sure. But do people actually find that here?

I guess I'm about to find out. 😂

I'm 23M, 5'8", skinny, and working as a software developer.

And yes, I'm skinny despite genuinely loving food. I want to try everything, but unfortunately I'm also ridiculously picky about taste. So I guess that's why I'm still skinny. 😭

Most of my life right now is basically work, laptop, sleep, repeat.

And honestly, I don't want it to stay that way.

I love mountains, nature, long drives, random walks, exploring new places, movies, books, light novels, manhwa, anime and tech.

I can spend hours thinking about how nice it would be to go somewhere, take a long drive, explore a new place or just go for a random walk.

But then reality hits:

"It's already late. I have work tomorrow."

And there goes another plan. 💀

Even if I want to take a late-night drive, there's always that little voice in my head reminding me that I have to wake up in the morning and go to work.

So maybe I need someone who's a little better at ignoring that voice than I am. 😂

Someone who'll randomly say:

“Stop overthinking. Get ready, we're going.”

Someone who can drag me out for a walk, convince me to take that random trip, try a new cafe, explore some place we've never been, or just go somewhere and see where the day takes us.

I don't need someone to completely change my life.

But I think having someone who puts in the effort, keeps up with me, and actually wants to do things together can change a lot.

And I'd want to do the same for her.

I'm also probably not the best at texting initially. 😭

My conversations can be painfully dry when I don't know someone. I'm trying to get better at actually asking questions instead of accidentally ending a conversation with:

"Oh nice 😂"

But once I'm comfortable, good luck getting me to shut up.

I'm into books, light novels, manhwa, anime, tech, movies, random internet rabbit holes and trying new things whenever I actually get myself out of the house.

I'm not expecting some perfect person or some movie-like relationship.

I'd just like to meet someone where both of us are willing to put in the effort.

Someone who can be there for the boring days as much as the fun ones.

Someone who'll say, “Let's go somewhere,” when we've both been stuck in the same routine for too long.

Someone I can explore things with, laugh with, annoy a little, and eventually look back with and think:

“I'm glad we didn't just stay in our rooms that day.” 😂

Maybe we'll click.

Maybe we won't.

But I think it's worth finding out.

So if you're someone who likes exploring, trying new things, random conversations, good food, spontaneous plans, or simply doesn't mind dragging a slightly work-obsessed developer away from his laptop...

Hi. 😂

  • 23M | 5'8" | Software Developer
  • Skinny despite loving food 😭
  • Mountains & nature > crowded places
  • Love long drives, walks, movies & exploring
  • Books, light novels, manhwa, anime & tech
  • Terrible texter initially, trying to improve 😂
  • Looking for someone who actually keep up with amount of effort i put
  • Someone to experience more of life with, instead of always saying “maybe someday.”

And yeah… this got pretty, pretty long. 😂

I'm also getting into game development recently.

So, if you're a player who actually read all the way here… congratulations, you made it to the end. 😂🎮

You can drop a comment or say hi. 👀

**23M. No love story. No idea where to even begin.**

What your thoughts and advice

I'm 23, and I've never been in a relationship.

Back in 10th grade, I never really cared about love or dating. Then COVID hit during intermediate, so there wasn't much of a social life. When I started B.Tech, life took a completely different turn.

My father met with a serious accident and was left paralyzed. I'm very close to him, so it hit me hard. Instead of enjoying college, making friends, or experiencing life like everyone else, I spent those years focused on my family.

I worked hard, got a job, and for the last three years my priority has been paying bills and helping stabilize things at home. Thankfully, things are much better now.

But somewhere along the way, I feel like I missed an important part of life.

Now that I finally have the space to think about myself, I honestly don't even know how to talk to girls or what a genuine relationship is supposed to feel like.

Sometimes I think maybe I just want sex, but that's not really who I am. I can't imagine asking someone for a casual relationship. At the same time, I'm not confident enough to promise someone a lifelong relationship either.

So I'm here anonymously asking...

How do people actually go from being strangers to falling in love?

How do you know when you're ready for a relationship?

Has anyone else spent years just surviving, only to realize later that they never really learned how to build connections?

Also, I recently moved to Hyderabad for work, so I'm hoping to meet new people, make friends, and slowly get out of my comfort zone.

I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts or experiences. #hyderabad
