I have a cat now and if I say I'm a cat mom I dont like it or a cat dad I don't like it either. So what to call myself? Cat what?

I have a letter from my doctor saying that having an esa would help me.

I live in Wisconsin, I read online I dont need to register my cat as an esa but after looking again last night it says something completely different. I'm worried that there is something that I'm missing and I'm going to loose my cat.
