Falling at 60 is New Ballgame

Accidentally stepped on a golf ball and went down hard on a crushed gravel pathway. Besides being bruised all over and nursing a wrenched knee and ankle, my mental health has taken a huge hit. When did falling get so dam painful and dangerous? 30 years ago this would have limping and bitching for a few days, but nothing like what I’m feeling today. I’m aching all over, angry for being such a klutz, doing the “what if you’d hit your head?” bit in my mind, and just plain exhausted from not being able to get comfortable.

This is the first time I’ve felt physically old and I hate it.

Home Exchange with ADU

We have an ADU (additional dwelling unit) on our property that due to county statutes we cannot rent out on Airbnb, etc for under 30 days. We cannot rent, however, do HE for points to use later.
My questions are for those of your with ADUs:

  1. Do you find guests are willing to use points over a direct exchange?
  2. Have you ever done a direct exchange utilizing your ADU and someone else’s home?

Just Realized what Samantha was Talking About

At the Desperado Club when she uses the term “nussy”. It took about half a day after reading it before it hit me, and now I can’t stop laughing.
