Changing Arrival WIndow After Online Check-in

Has anyone in this sub ever had any luck getting an earlier arrival window after completing online check-in?

I got confused about the date and checked in later than I had planned, so my assigned arrival window is later than I'd like. My main concern is that the parking garage is undersized and fills up quickly. I'd like to avoid using the overflow lot, so I'm basically looking at having to arrive at the garage 2.5 hours before my assigned arrival window just to have a decent shot at getting a space.

Has anyone been able to switch to an earlier window after initially checking in, or am I pretty much stuck with what I got?

Thanks for any advice!

Half Moon Cay Historic Nature Walk

Has anyone in this sub ever taken the Historic Nature Walk excursion at Half Moon Cay? If so, I’d really like to hear about your experience and whether you thought it was worth the time and money.

I’m trying to decide whether to book this excursion or just explore the island on my own. From what I understand, the nature walk takes you through areas of Half Moon Cay where you can learn more about the island’s history, plants, wildlife, and natural environment. That sounds interesting to me, but I’m wondering how much of the experience is actually unique to the guided excursion.

For those who have taken the walk, did you get to see or access anything that you couldn’t normally see by simply wandering around the island on your own? Were there areas that were restricted or difficult to find without the guide? Did the guide provide information or point out things that you probably would have missed otherwise?

I’m especially curious about whether you saw any interesting wildlife, historical sites, ruins, unusual plants, or other things that made the excursion stand out. I’m also wondering how much actual walking is involved and whether the pace gives you enough time to stop and look around, take pictures, and enjoy the surroundings.

If you’ve done the Historic Nature Walk, would you recommend it, or would you say the island is easy enough to explore independently and the excursion isn’t really necessary?

I’d appreciate hearing both positive and negative experiences before I make my decision. Thanks!

What is this thing that randomly appeared on my piano?

At first I thought it was like a cat poop, but it is like kind of pinkish and seems to be made up of a bunch of balls, I broke it open and it kind of had goo in each little ball. It’s right by my beta tank that also had a snail in it.

How heavy would a solid steel ball about the size of a tennis ball need to be to counteract the pull of an average humans sphincter muscles and fall safely out of the anus?

Getting ready to go on my first Norwegian Cruise Line cruise and looking for some advice/input. This will be my third cruise overall, but my first with NCL. My previous two cruises were on Carnival, and I had a good time on both of them—I’m not switching because of a bad experience, just wanted to try a different cruise line and see how it compares.

I’ll be staying in a Solo Studio cabin, which is also a new experience for me.

For those of you who have sailed both Carnival and NCL, what differences should I expect between the two cruise lines? Things like vibe, food, entertainment, embarkation, onboard activities, nightlife, service, or anything else that stood out to you.

Also, if you’ve stayed in a Solo Studio, I’d love to hear any tips or things to know ahead of time.

Thanks!
