'I'm here to pick up Ellie' said Mary, standing on the doorstep

'What!?' Roared Hank. 'But I've only had her for an hour!'

'An hour was what we agreed on.' Mary reminded him.

''Fine!' Snapped Hank, nudging the little girl out the door to her mother. 'Take her away from me again then, you nasty, vile, horrible old cow!'

With that, Hank slammed the door in their faces.

'Um, honey? I really think we should find our daughter a new piano teacher...' Muttered Mary's husband from beside her.

What's everyone's favourite little details they discovered in the games?

I think mine would have to be right at the beginning of Ironbark Lookout, when I decided to turn the R.V around instead of continuing forward and was met with "I was second guessing my decision to transfer" followed by "I went back"

After that the menu screen loads as if that were the end of the game, so I technically completed Ironbark in under twenty seconds

My wife ordered Chinese food from a new Chinese restaurant when her extended family came to visit and asked me to collect it

I loaded the bags of food in the back seat of my car and began the short drive home

As I was driving, I heard rustling behind me and quickly glanced back but couldn't see anything so turned my attention back to the road

I continued driving for a few moments when something caught my attention in the rear view mirror; a pair of black eyes were peering at me from inside one of the bags of food

I pulled over and jumped out the car, trying to calm myself down and rationalise the situation

Eventually, I decided I'd have to investigate

I opened the back door of my car, tore the handles of the bag apart and looked in

And there it was....

A peking duck

25 years ago, my uncle went on a safari holiday when he noticed a distressed elephant caught up in a snare

My uncle instantly ran over and pried the snare off the elephant and freeing it.

The elephant looked at my uncle before raising its foot and lifting its trunk in the air as a sign of gratitude before it walked away.

My uncle never forgot that moment and proudly told anyone who would listen.

Last week, we were all on a family holiday in another city and decided to have a day out at the zoo.

When we got to the elephant enclosure, my uncle froze.

An elephant looked at him through the glass before raising its foot and lifting its trunk in the air.

My uncle became ecstatic and, without another word, quickly climbed over the walls of the enclosure to reunite with the animal.

They stood face to face briefly, the elephant maintaining its pose as my uncle wept tears of joy.

Then, without warning, the elephant picked my uncle up with its trunk and hurled him in the air multiple times before throwing him against the wall, killing him instantly.

Guess it wasn't the same elephant.

Bleach or dye causing irritation?- Manic Panic

Hi all,

I'll start by saying I'm allergic to all/most generic hair dyes but have used manic panic for about 10 years, mostly blue but on occasion black. I'd never bleached my hair up until now.

My current hairstyle is both sides shaved with medium/long hair in the middle which I often have tied in a ponytail.

I bleached my hair with manic panic 40 volume bleach 4 days ago. I acquired a bleach irritation bump on my forehead while applying but nothing too sinister. The bleached hair touched most parts of my head whilst I had it wrapped up waiting for it to set.

3 days ago, I dyed it with manic panic. I went for majority of my hair black with a red stripe down my long fringe.

Today, I've had some kind of irritation.

One part of my forehead in an area where the red dye is, around where the bleach irritation was, has formed a weepy red scab. Below it on one side of my forehead has a small cluster of bumps/ spots which aren't itchy and just resemble early stage small pimples.

The back of my neck (which sometimes has the bleached/dyed hair in a ponytail against it) has broken out in a bumpy, irritated reaction. I have a few other scabs similar to the one on my forehead at the back of my head on the shaved parts where it isn't dyed nor bleached.

A few hours ago, I slathered both colours of the manic panic I used onto my inner elbows as a patch test to see if it would react, but so far it hasn't.

Does this sound like a hair dye reaction, because I would've thought my entire head (or fringe) would be affected if it were?

Or does it sound more like a bleach issue?

Hair bleaching while being allergic to permanent dyes

Hi all

I'm looking to bleach my hair before dying it a different colour

I use Manic Panic hair dye as it doesn't contain ingredients which I'm allergic to, but I've never bleached my hair before

I'm looking at using the Manic Panic bleach kits

Has anyone used these kits before and how were the results??

Also am I likely to be allergic to bleach if I'm allergic to permanent dye?? (I'll be doing a patch test beforehand just to be safe but just wondering if anyone has any advice before I buy a kit)

Thanks all

When he opened the door, he saw his mother bouncing up and down on his father's lap.

Confused, he quickly closed the door and went back to bed.

The next morning at breakfast after his father had left for work, the little boy asked his mother why she was bouncing on his dad last night

A bit embarrassed and taken off guard, mum thought for a moment before answering 'well, you know how daddy has a big belly? Sometimes I have to bounce on it to make it flatter.'

The little boy nodded, taking a mouthful of cereal before replying 'well, I wouldn't bother if I were you.'

'Why?' Asked his mum, confused.

The boy finished his mouthful and told her 'because every weekend when you go to visit grandma, the lady next door comes over and blows it back up again..'

Mike knew Sarah had been having a bad arthritis flare recently, so decided to check in with her.

'Morning!' Mike called as he approached her. 'How are you feeling?'

'Well, not too great actually,' Sarah admitted. 'The Dr gave me a strong steroid medication to help with my arthritis. The pain's gone right down, but I've grown a penis!'

'Oh dear,' Mike responded, shocked. 'Anabolic?'

'Oh no, Mike,' Sarah replied. 'Just a penis.'
