The Great Lawrence of Arabia ..David Leans masterpiece of cinema would fail on Youtube in this day and age.

Putting a masterwork like Lawrence of Arabia on YouTube today as a brand-new indie upload would result in total algorithmic crap show

If you don't have a hyperactive thumbnail, a shocking clickbait title, and an explosive hook in the first five seconds, the automated recommendation engine will bury the video in minutes. A slow-burn, beautifully paced masterpiece would get completely flattened by the platform's retention metrics, stalling out at less than 1,000 views while short-form junk racks up millions. It is a brutal reflection of how modern tech completely chokes out fine art.

I mean think about that such a masterpiece of a movie and it would prob not even get 20k views maybe even less ..This is a complete reflection of where modern society has devolved too

Now if Christopher Nolan was directing it and Universal was putting up 100 million dollars to advertise this new movie ..pretending like David Lean had never been born ...well it would probably win a Oscar LOL !

Do you think your value has worth ?

The era of independent artists trading their sweat and computation costs for empty social media metrics and microscopic ad-pennies is officially over. When you value your own work and gate it behind a professional membership wall like your $2.99 YouTube tier or $5 Patreon, you force the audience to treat your film like an actual cinematic event rather than disposable brain-rot content...

When you start valuing your talent , start drawing the line in the sand that other people can at least start valuing it for the price of a cup of coffee is the day the peope not the corporations take back what is rightfully theirs

Gonna do a little bit of pushback and urge caution

Now I am a pro AI filmmaker in every way , but now I am gonna do what most people would not expect from me. Gonna do a litlte bit of push back and urge caution as I see certain YT Ai filmmaking sites really pusing this whole narrative of doing longer and longer prompts to get 2 or 3 minute little short films . And When I see this idea from some popular ones it concerns me this idea of pushing letting the AI do more and more of the filmmaking for you ...I myself try to do it all and it it's not easy but I just like authorship and feel my choices 80 percent of the time are just better.

What worries me is these longer fomats with 2 or 3 paragraph prompt is going to make AI fimmaking go the way of Amazon Kindle we are gonna a dump truck of crap coming out and it will get harder and harder to distinguish really great work out there.

Second is even worst situation is low budget studios only out to make a buck flooding social media and the film market with AI slop were they were as lazy as they possibly could be and just start mass producing stuff ,

I want to see the legitimacy of AI fimmaking to happen and I Know you do too

If we want to be considered real filmmakers then we have to make sure we are the one's calling the shot's not the ai platform program ...If we want to be considered and respected as filmmakers we have to act like one.

Short verson I am all for a AI filmmaking Revolution that changes Cinema forever , but I am also huge advocate for let's do our own work as much as we can

My very first AI short film for less than 100 bucks made I need any input

My very first AI short film for less than 100 bucks made I need any input

This is my very first AI video I made and published to YT. I am a long time filmmaker who has been keeping an eye on AI filmmaking for a while now but a lot of times I felt I was watching more a slide show in the past. But now with Seedance 2.0 I feel it is finally ready. I would really appreciate it if you take a look at this and tell me what you think it's really more a concept I wrote up having fun with the internet Backrooms mythology. It's been a long time since behind the camera so go easy on me LOL

https://youtu.be/7WywamAW9O4

Posted in the past but put the wrong video link lol ...that was just a concept for a commercial this is a actual short film ..one of the first using mostly top view . been just doing a lot of testing since only been doing AI filmmaking for like 2 and half months ...it's weird too for me as well not being on a set with actors , I even do some acting myself when the part is something I think I can contriubute to ..So I am getting used to the new filmmaking tools just like you

Let's talk about why you don't like AI Filmmaking

Let's talk about why you don't like AI Filmmaking. What if the filmmaker made 85 to 90 percent of the artistic choices ..what if they wrote the script , what if they picked out the best acting performances , what if they designed the sets , picked out the costumes , picked the music , edited the footage ..would you still think it's slop then ? What if they designed pacing , tone atmosphere

Have you ever asked yourself why your okay with things like Kane Parsons using blender a computer program to make his YT backrooms short films, the now accepted use of green screen. The 3d virtual sets that were used by John Farveu on The Mandolorian seasons, the use of cgi to create countless VFX shots in thousands of movies you love and enjoy ..you do realize without a computer that none of these new innovations would be possible.

Now I know that there are those in the industry who will take the laziest route possible when it comes to AI filmmaking , have even heard some YT talking about hey won't be great when the next version of seedance you can give it a page long prompt and have an entire feature made. But I am too agaisnt the very idea of that , when I hear a so called fimmaker had the AI write the script for him I too stop considering that person a filmmaker. But just crypto should you blame the technology or should blame the bad actors that come with all new feature innovations and will try their damn'est to take advantage of it for the sin of pure greed?

I will leave you with the words of a man who has I am sure brought countless joy to all of our lives giving us some of the greatest and most entertianing films ever made.

"Artificial intelligence means it's much easier for us to make movies," Lucas said. "It's very much like sitting here saying, ‘Well, I believe the horse and the buggy is really where it's at. These cars, they break down, they need gas, there's all kinds of problems with them and pretty soon they'll be making them into tanks, and then they'll be killing people. It's terrible.' There's nothing you can do about it. That's progress, it's the future." ....

Why India Could Become AI Cinema’s Biggest Testing Ground

So we all thought China was moving fast but there might very well be another country that is even more on the fast track. Would you sell your film to India film market? Maybe dub it and then market it there? Would you watch or buy a film made from India ..have you lately?
