Dark Frontier Fantasy | Tactical Roleplay | Political Intrigue | Living World Campaign

Starting at level 1 going all the way to 20! Need 2 players to start 4 players max!

Azural remembers everything.

In the foothills of the Drenthars, most names are forgotten, most contracts are written in dust, and only Azural itself bothers to keep score.

You start in the fading frontier town of Arazar, just mere faces in the crowd, taking whatever work will keep you fed.
• Escorting short caravans that never make the stories.
• Settling petty border quarrels.
• Finding the missing, no one can afford to mourn.
• Looking the other way on smuggling runs.
• Digging up graves for coins that barely shine.

Small jobs for small people.

Until Azural begins to change around you—and the first whispers of a divine crime start to echo from the shadows.

Will you silence those whispers, or turn them into the cry that rights a long‑forgotten wrong?

Azural: The Anvil Road [Tuesdays 8pm MST][5e 2024][$20][Foundry][Need 2 Players to Start][Frontier Adventure]

The Anvil Road grows more dangerous; with every mile, another knot comes loose. Choose which to unravel. Prove this road still forges heroes.

In the premiere campaign in my custom-setting, Azural, this frontier fantasy campaign drops you into the Anvilroad Protectorate, where the road itself is a living force: hungry, judgmental, and impossible to ignore. Starting at level 1 as sellswords in the dusty outpost of Arazar, you'll take rough work for rough pay. But the Anvil Road doesn't stay small for long.

What makes this different:

A setting that reacts to you - Every contract, every betrayal, every alliance races ahead to the next town. The road is witness, judge, and sometimes accomplice

Faction politics with teeth - Back the wrong shipment and the Violet Record writes your failure into history. Cross the wrong clergy and the road grows colder, longer, less forgiving

Tactical, dangerous combat - Fights are lethal and strategic. Route planning, social pressure, and choosing your allies matter as much as your blade

Mystery in the margins - Beneath trade wars and border conflicts lies something older: tears in reality, a stolen crown, and an imprisoned truth that could shatter millennia of lies

You'll forge your legacy from nothing through survival, investigation, negotiation, and ambition. Will the Anvil Road become your lifeline, your graveyard, or the first crack in an ancient deception?

Perfect for players who want: Thoughtful roleplay, meaningful consequences, gritty tactical combat, and characters ready to rise from humble mercenaries to legends the road itself cannot forget.

Ready to see what the road forges you into? Step into the heat.

Azural: The Anvil Road [Tuesdays 8pm MST][5e 2024][$20][Foundry][Need 2 Players to Start][Frontier Adventure]

https://reddit.com/link/1tes910/video/3v7cn2mysh1h1/player

Let’s build your legend together. The Anvil Road is a frontier fantasy campaign set in Azural where the road feels alive, watching and judging every choice you make. You begin at level 1 in the outpost of Arazar as hired blades taking hard jobs for harder pay. What starts with bandits, missing cargo, and roadside disputes soon turns darker as caravans vanish, raids grow precise, and whispers spread of something teaching the road to betray those who depend on it. Your reputation moves ahead of you, carried from fire to fire, shaping how every town, contract, and faction responds.

This is a gritty, character-driven campaign where survival, pressure, and consequence matter as much as steel. Beneath trade wars and failing blessings lies something older, fractures in the world, a stolen crown, and a truth history has tried to bury. Every choice cuts deeper the further you go. The Anvil Road can become a lifeline, a graveyard, or the first crack in something ancient and dangerous. This game is for players who want weight behind their decisions and the chance to carve a legacy from nothing.

If you’re ready to see what the Anvil Road forges you into, step into the heat and we'll shape your story together.

Let's build your legend together!

The Anvil Road remembers your name before you do. It watches every promise, every failed escort, every bargain struck beside a dying fire.

The Anvil Road is a frontier fantasy campaign in Azural where the road itself feels like a living force; hungry, judgmental, and impossible to ignore. Starting at level 1 in the dusty outpost of Arazar, you begin as hired blades taking rough work for rough pay. Together we will craft an epic tale where survival, reputation, and choice are all measured by what the road chooses to carry forward.

At first, it tests you with small things. Bandits in the grasslands. Missing cargo. Petty disputes that turn bloody before dawn. But the Anvil Road is never content with playing it small. Convoys begin to vanish, raiders strike with impossible precision, and whispers spread that someone is teaching the road to betray the people who depend on it.

This is not just a place you travel through. The Anvil Road is a witness, a judge, and sometimes an accomplice. Every contract you accept, every caravan you swear to protect, and every side you take in a roadside feud races ahead of you to the next inn, the next camp, the next frightened town. Back the wrong shipment and the Violet Record may write your failure into history. Cross the wrong clergy and the road may suddenly feel a lot longer, colder, and less forgiving.

The deeper you go, the more the road begins to reveal its wounds. Beneath the trade wars, the failing blessings, and the border politics lies something older: tears in the weave of the world, things that grow where they shouldn’t, and a stolen crown that covets a secret buried so deep that history itself has gone quiet around it. The first knot is fraying. The Anvil Road knows it. Soon, so will you.

There is an imprisoned truth rattling its cage, a truth that you can choose to subdue or set free. You will discover it through survival, investigation, negotiation, and the consequences of your own ambition. You decide whether the Anvil Road becomes a lifeline, a graveyard, or the first crack in a lie that has endured for millennia.

The tone is tense, grounded, and character-driven. Combat is dangerous and tactical, but so are route planning, social pressure, and deciding which powers deserve your loyalty. This campaign is for players who want thoughtful roleplay, meaningful choices, and characters willing to find out what the road demands and what it gives back. Characters that want to forge a legacy from humble beginnings. Characters ready to answer the call of the Anvil Road.

If you’re ready to see what the Anvil Road forges you into, step into the heat and we'll shape your story together.
