Confused about my next bike purchase

I have been considering buying a new ADV for a while now. The best ones in my price range is the RE Himalayan 450 and KTM Adventure 390. I am on the fence on both of these motorcycles. They’re both segment leaders and cater to different riders.

My stats:
- I currently own a domaine 400 so riding bigger bikes aren’t new to me
- I’m 5’3.
- I go on a lot of motorcycle rides. I’ve completed all of South India on my Dominar 400. I am positive that no matter what I end up buying, I’ll tour on it for sure.

My thoughts:
- I’m a believer of having skills to ride. A taller rider with no skills can still drop the bike and have accidents. That doesn’t discount the fact that the H450 is a big bike and would be difficult to manage in traffic and technical off-road situations.
- My partner will be joining me on long rides. Maybe 1 in 3 of the rides. I’ve ridden both bikes and can confidently accept that the 390 is a no-go for pillions. This automatically eliminates the motorcycle from my list, but:
- One of the main points I have in mind looking for the next bike is that I want something agile and quick, like the 390. I have ridden the h450 and it’s not as quick and agile as the 390, for obvious reasons.
- No matter which motorcycle I buy, I intend on practicing my off-road skills on it and I know for sure that the H450 will have a pretty steep learning curve just because of the weight itself. I tried the 390 and it felt like home. Perfect riding triangle and the light weight makes for a very flickable and manageable motorcycle.

The reason I’m posting here is - I want to know how the other Adventure 390 owners feel about their motorcycle. Are you bothered by the vibrations? Do you not like the fact that this motorcycle just cannot accommodate a pillion for long rides?

I’m very confused. The only reason I might buy the h450 is for its pillion comfort.

- I’m 5’3, 29 inches inseam.
- I go on a lot of motorcycle rides. I’ve completed all of South India on my Dominar 400. I am positive that no matter what I end up buying, I’ll tour on it for sure.

The reason I’m posting here is - I want to know how the other H450 owners feel about this motorcycle. Do you miss the suite of electronics the competition offers? Would you like your H450 to be a bit lighter and quicker? Both the H450 and the 390 are really good motorcycles in their rite but I feel like I’m leaning towards the 390 for its ease of riding and sheer fun (can’t discount that it’s so much more forgiving for shorter riders like myself); however, I’m only looking at the Himalayan 450 to be able to ride with my partner. If she wasn’t interested in riding, I would probably just buy the 390 x plus.

No offense meant to any of the H450 riders. I absolutely loved the H450 with the stock 825mm seat when I tried my friend’s motorcycle but I’m honestly a little tired of these big boys and want something that moves quick and is light at its feet.

Researching a tool for recapturing "Denied Work" revenue

I’ve been looking into the leak in revenue caused by denied/deferred work and I'm considering building a system/automation to help shops recover those losses.

If you were to use something like this, what would be the absolute must-haves for it to be worth your time? Also, what is the biggest pain you currently face when trying to follow up on work that was declined, and what usually works for you?
