Paddington just paused to switch a lead

Long pause middle of first act. We had no clue why until they said it was an unwell actor who is being swapped out. Really unfortunate. Hope she’s well and the show finds its momentum back. The opening was superb.

Georgie Lagden killed it (pun intended) at Oh Mary matinee

Just got out of the matinee and she was lead. She was amazing throughout. One of the best acting performances I’ve seen live in a very long time.

Audience was fully into it, despite not being sold out (I scored last minute discount seats).

Glad I saw her performance.

Very surprised they don’t have team depth for injury

I’m on Ep 7 and am really surprised they have to call in someone who hasn’t practiced in years to cover for injury. Years ago they had 38 girls on the team which would allow for cover for things like this. Broadway shows and athletic teams have backup.

Not trying to pick on them. It just seems odd to me that they don’t have a bench of talent ready to go, given how grueling their schedule and physical demands are.

What kind of medical care does Mayday get? June heals fast.

She’s a resilient character by design. But man does she recover from major injury fast. Can we get some of that medical care rolled out publicly?

I stopped counting all the traumatic injuries and the fast track rebounds.

Love the show and just binged all seasons. But this is something the writers could have done more with.

Forgot how much the heat affects need for meds

Been updosing about 50% through the heatwave and still feel weak.

Hang tough everyone and stay on top of the stuff that makes us keep grinding.

Wicked never disappoints

Such a beautiful show, no matter how many times I see it.

Shout out to the cast tonight.

Jon and Rick planted enough chaos juice to make this episode special--especially after the gorging and grossness of the auction and the emotion of the letters. The chaos that Jon and Rick teed up for the show was just getting started and Jeff wrongly and performatively pivoted and granted credit to Mr. Beast's stupid flip-a-coin concept.

Jeff--trust the cast to deliver. They are really top talent and they brought the energy without the gimmicks.

Looking forward to seeing the show in late August, but they are the most expensive tickets I’ve seen on West End maybe ever.
