Migration Question (3rd party managed odoo 18 to odoo 19 enterprise)
So a small business I work for/assist with the IT and technology end of things was using Odoo 18 CommunityEdition which was managed by a 3rd party that my employee paid a $3500 upfront fee and a monthly $225 fee for continued It service.
However, we ended up getting a stand alone subscription for ourselves with Odoo 19 Enterprise which was overall much cheaper and allows for more customization and access to more features. However, I believed that I could just request a backup of our database from the community edition and restore it to our new enterprise so that we had a seamless transition. However that doesn’t seem to be the case. What’s the easiest/most time efficient method of importing the previous Odoo’s data and records to allow a seamless transition into using the new enterprise platform
