Hello honored brothers and cousins, so a lil backstory before I spew out this long post, but I absolutely love sm2 especially being a lamenters fan. But I have over 1400 hours and I went from not being able to even parry on minimal to playing hard strats, but I will say that I have an idea that I think would benefit the community and the intense grinders of sm2. But I was thinking what if we could get some different colored tyranids from the other hive fleets with certain stats increased. Like for example behemoth has a 15-20% melee damage increase or kraken a 20-30% speed and agility increase and for hydra and their cannibalistic nature they (majoris+)get a 10% increase for any minoris they take out before the Marines do( idk how they would do this). This i believe would add variety and longevity to the game for newer and veteran players alike, with the veterans who say the game is too easy. bam! hard strats with whatever hive fleet. And I will say I would have this be an optional thing for operations if some people don't wanna do the other fleets, idk if the devs would put this on normal strats cause some low levels would complain nevertheless, but let's just say I think it would give more incentive to grind the higher levels.

But it could be really fun with never knowing which fleet your facing or even getting a strat where your fighting all the fleets

And another thing would be adding the red terror for a mission, and I was thinking we would fight it throughout the mission with each encounter getting more vicious till the final boss fight. just an idea I thought I'd throw out to the community and hope that if everyone would like this as well, we could possibly get this added to the game for year 3 possibly since I know there's people who can get in contact with the devs faster than I ever hope could do. But again just a cool thought I had that I thought maybe the community would like in-game as well

So thoughts brothers

Got a deathguard army that I have built up next to my lamenters one but had a few og tacticals left over and started on my defiler and needed to sneak in one of my boys in lol, so anyways the lore for this piece is the 5th company answered a sos call for evacuation from the lords of silence(DG) so they arrive and immediately drop a squad of 15 brothers to hold , advance and push back the enemy, So the last firstborn veteran sargent remains at his post while the last remaining citizens evacuate while he buys them as much time as possible, Gonna have to add some scared citizens and retreating guard for the more desperate look but progress lol

but the homie's equipped with a bolter, an ancestral knife with ehhhh 5 kraks

So I'm making progress on "painting the army" but thought I'd share my army since this is what ienvisioned having ever since getting into 40k. Yes some of them are more yellow cause when I first started painting I was experimenting with different primers and kept it as an reminder of how far I've come lol

Hello honored ...and brutal cousins I thought I'd share my (proxy) army of the lords of silence just more mutated. I usually only play deathgaurd when my nieces and nephews wanna play against me and feel like they're tryna stop on unstoppable force lol, but I have a defiler, 2 helbrutes, a Lord of virulence, typhus, 6 death shroud, 5 blightlords, 10 plague marines w/ a Lord of poxes and plague surgeon, haven't shown them the defiler yet. It'll be a surprise. But it shall be a beautiful sight to behold for the grandfather, flesh tearers, sisters of battle and the salamanders vs the pestilence of nurgle, wish me luck comrades on spreading the good word of the grandfather

I already have a few dreads all painted yellow, but any tips on painting these boys(especially the metal parts) haven't painted a dread before, but I feel this one's calling to be painted first

Brothers which armor set looks better to you, I'm gonna make up a blade guard vet model to go with my playable one in space marine 2, but does the bug hater look better or the wolf one, I wanted it to look like a pelt, kinda like the one sanguinius had.

Got a honoured lamenters 7th company bladeguard vet who's either a Xtreme bug hater or has a pelt kinda like sanguinius had.

But which one looks better cause I'm wanna make a model off which ever one is voted on

Apologies for the long post ,Hello brothers you may have seen me post here and there but I have some quips to complain about but I would rather be told by the chaplain I'm wrong than the ultramarines lol, but I've been watching some shorts and whatnot but I truly feel a lot of people get a butt load of stuff wrong about us for instance, we can't black rage, wym us lamenters just take happen to take a crap load more vs vs before we fall to it as to the the thirst, or how our black rage is weaker when it isn't, it just takes us awhile to get to that point cause we got innocents on the mind 24/7, or hell we have no zeal when we fought the minatours (badab)when we were well below half strength yet we still fought to below (not best sources) and yet they still said we impressed them and not to destroy us and yet we are still here, fighting for the people and yet we get shit on, I'j it's our thing brothers but still I do get a tad emotional about what our chapter goes through for just a small child giving a glimpse of of hope in a truly dark and grim universe yet I feel so many people tell lies of our deeds .....anyways another thing brothers wanted to run this by the chapter but I really loved the way the purple robes looked on the bulwark that I thought what if we mixed our checkered pattern with colored robes for our companies marking since I feel imo, that a lot of colored robes make us look more noble and heroic and I wanted thoughts...granted I would rather take a checkered pattern robes instead with chosen colors

Kinda thought it'd be hilarious to run an all prosthetic battle brother who's been through the worst.lf the worst

Hello brothers so I just need some clarification I'm going to be painting some heads, but after reading some stuff bout the home world of naktis, it said it the world was covered in dark with no sun in naktis (I could be wrong) and their skin is pale,l because of it, so wouldn't their skin tone be close to that of a nightlords just with red eyes instead of void less pits?
