**RESOLVED** Update I just called their customer service, they said that it should correct itself and charge me properly the next time I tap for a ride. Just letting y’all know in case anyone else is in the same boat as me!
About a week ago, I was taking the red line and meant to transfer to the green line at Gallery place, but I had a brain fart and tapped out at Gallery place. I immediately turned around and tapped back in (well within 15 minutes) and proceeded with taking the green line to my intended destination. I waited a few days to see if the trip would correct itself and condense it to one trip. But it stayed as two trips.
I tried calling customer service to explain the mixup and see if they would refund one of them since I immediately re-entered the same station I tapped out of. But the agent said that the 15 minute grace period policy is only for entering and then exiting, not exiting and then entering.
Could someone please confirm if this is true or is the person I spoke to mistaken? At this point, I’m willing to just eat the $2.25 loss since it’s not worth the trouble to pursue further. But I’m curious if I’m in the right or wrong here, and good to know in case this happens again.
I have a spare elite charged TM so not a big deal, but it seems weird that it didn’t come with signature move.
I commented on a post that appeared in my feed where OP was asking for suggestions on which pokemon they should use their next gold bottle cap on when it returns. I just gave my suggestion, that was the entire comment. Apparently the post was on r / iPogo, but I am not a member of that subreddit and honestly didn’t even know what that subreddit was. The post appeared in my feed so I assumed it was from a pokemon go subreddit I follow. But regardless, the subject of the post was literally harmless. So frustrating, is there anything I can do? I messaged them back explaining the situation but no reply.
