Trying to reduce as much as possible the time I spend at home and am wondering where everyone recommends hanging out and grabbing a drink, putting 2-3 hours into work on my computer?

I have unlimited data and a personal hotspot, and don’t take meetings, I just don’t want to be home and don’t need it to be a “private” space as there’s nothing that requires security.

I’ve tried the library but just like that passive noise and everything! Obviously, alcohol isn’t an issue and neither are kids/dogs/etc.

Just looking for places where you can do this!

My parents are extremely traditional (Filipino) and I believe I’m aromantic, as well as bisexual, so I hadn’t really been looking for a relationship and then now, I’m 30 and don’t want to continue dating. I’m ready to settle down and I’m interested in a life partnership or simply a companionship where we both have the freedom to live our own lives, and grow as people and have a home base to come back to.

I want to have children, and have already connected with a local fertility clinic and have donor sperm to do so- I would not be interested in “making you” have bio kids if you’re not interested, as I pretty much planned to have them on my own. If you want to have children together, I also connected with this clinic so we are able to go right to my doctor to talk about IVF or other options in the future, as well as we can do it naturally if you’re comfortable.

What I bring:
- financial independence, I don’t want to combine finances, and will take care of supporting myself and paying my own debt, the only sharing we would do is splitting things like rent or groceries. Since I planned to have a child as a single mom, I also can support our children and will never ask for child support. I’m very willing to sign a prenup expressing both of these and making it legal in writing.

- I’ll handle my family. You’ve just got to be there and keep up appearances, but this is a commitment of a few times a year. We’ll work together on the “how we met” story.

- I’m not judgemental, as long as you’re safe about it I’d give you the freedom to be whoever you would like to be.

- I’m a huge nerd and love video games, TTRPG, gaming of all kinds and take care of myself to stay relatively fit and healthy. Im very extroverted, love having long conversation but am happy to leave you alone as well, again, both of our freedom is the biggest thing to me!

What I am looking for:
- Gay, Bi or Heterosexual man, preferably aromantic as well or asexual, but since you have the freedom to see whoever you would like, that’s less of a big deal
-ideally you’re liberal or moderate, I am not interested in someone who is very religious and expects me to follow them with that, I’m looking for someone who understands themselves and the type of this relationship this would be
-must be in Canada at least, preferably Alberta and be able to play the part of meeting naturally for a couple of months, after marrying we can move wherever, and I can easily find a job/work remotely

Looks don’t matter to me since this is a very specific type of arrangement, I just want someone kind and fair who wants to move on with both of our lives together

I’ve lived in Calgary my entire life and am truly desperate to leave. Any suggestions on where to go?

I would obviously love to be in Toronto or Vancouver but that’s not the most financially responsible, so I’m looking for smaller cities- absolutely no towns or anything under 40k people- either in BC or the Maritimes, or Ontario but nothing too far North. I don’t have any French and my only family in Canada is also here in Calgary. I’m also happy renting- not looking to own in the next five years and I’m only going to be bringing myself and my cat.

Looking for a place where I can have a fresh start, be on my own, and have an active social life, I drive and have been driving since I was old enough to- car centric cities or places with longer commutes are not a problem in the slightest. I’m not a huge nature person and rarely would go up to mountains or lakes, and prefer to travel by plane than anything here.

I’ve worked for 6 years in Coordinator/Project Management roles and would prefer NOT to work remotely if it’s at all possible.

So any places and/or companies that I can look into starting to apply for roles there or just looking into moving to the place and perhaps visiting?

I returned paper tickets for 2 free events, and a couple others that were 10$ along with generics to customer service today, and the events are still in my schedule and returning as conflicts when I try to book other events at that time. About how long does it take to resolve in the system?

Hi everyone! It’s my 5th year and I’ll be coming to the con from Canada- so I’m putting it out to class- what are the best small box games to pick up at Gencon this year?

I have Wingspan Pocket and Hercules and the 12 Labors earmarked and am looking for small box board games and RPG/narrative games that fit well in a carry on and are fun to play- What We Possess, Illimat, Spindlewheel, Tiny Epics, that’s kind of my vibe. Tried Final Girl and didn’t like it- I’m more interested in new games as well, anything from the last 2-3 years or so, and especially smaller/independent publishers feel free to plug your work!

Is this possible? My AirPods 4 are somewhere in my apartment and while I have the empty case, I can’t find them. I’ve destroyed the entire place and turned everything upside down looking and want to be sure I don’t have them here before spending on another pair. The apartment is only 600sq ft so I feel that find my should pick up but all it shows is last location, which is just the unit itself.

Is there any option to find these except dumb luck? And no- no pets are in the unit and no kids who might have eaten them.
