Best Bar for Socializing

Hey everyone, I’m new to the Fairbanks area and looking to get out and meet some people this Friday and Saturday night. What bars would you recommend for someone going out solo who wants a good social atmosphere and a decent crowd?

2020 Chevy Malibu Block Heater Installation

I’m getting my 2020 Chevy Malibu LT 1.5L ready for a move to Fairbanks, Alaska. I bought the GM Genuine engine block heater (Part #12586687), but I noticed the heater itself doesn’t appear to come with a power cord.
Does this block heater require a separate GM cord? If so, what’s the correct part number?
Also, if you’ve installed this heater yourself, how difficult was the installation? Did you have to remove anything besides the splash shield, and is it worth doing myself or should I just have a shop install it?

Momotaro Rant

The Momotaros get zero love in this manga. I understand the antagonists are supposed to take some losses, but the Momotaros take nothing but Ls.
A lot of that comes down to protagonist plot armor. You’ve got rookie Oni fresh out of the academy defeating commander-level Momotaros, and it just doesn’t feel earned. When your supposed elite villains keep losing to inexperienced heroes, it makes them hard to take seriously as a threat.
I think the story would be much stronger if the Momotaros were allowed to rack up a few meaningful wins. Let them defeat established characters, force the protagonists to retreat, or even let them succeed in some of their objectives. That way, when the heroes finally overcome them, it feels like a genuine accomplishment instead of another predictable victory.
