In the 2011 book "The Hidden Reality" the author says that hopefully someday soon we will detect gravitational waves. LIGO detected the waves for the first time 4 years later in 2015

Those of you with hunters mark tattoos or shirts, how many times have you had to explain what it is to strangers?

I've got the patch on the front of my battle jacket. It's got about 20 patches on it but everyone's eyes seem to go directly to the hunters mark. One guy said "hey! The rune of death!" I don't know what the rune of death is. The bagger lady at the grocery store walked up while I was waiting in line and said in a very pushy tone while she tapped me on the shoulder: "I'm sorry but can I ask you something?" And before I could even reply she pointed at the patch and said "what is that?"

I do live in a particularly religious region. Any of you have the same experience?
