my friend who’s a console only player, owns a xbox series x and PS5, wants to dip their toes into PC gaming without taking the full leap, after seeing that the steam machine is kind of impossible to get right now he considered getting the steam deck and then realised the ally is cheaper and supposedly it can do everything the steam deck can, are there any downsides to going with the Ally? he mainly just wants to play some PC only indie games, and mod some games he’s always wanted to mod like Battlefront 2, Stardew Valley etc..

i used to play this game quite a lot and i thought the audio was generally pretty decent and when i heard things i could hear where they were coming from, i am under the impression the siege x update totally reworked this and it sounds terrible to me, sometimes i feel like daredevil and i can hear everything but other times there will be a guy directly to my right and he sounds like he’s upstairs to my left or something, for example today i was playing outside of garage on chalet, someone broke open the window above garage to peek us while we tried to breach and my teammate had to call it out because i did not hear a THING. what is this man?

we used to play this game often with little issue, but lately every single time i try to join his lobby it loads, and for a split second i show up on his screen as an added player, but then it seems to kick me out and i load into a lobby by myself, does anybody know how to fix this? its very frustrating.
