dbrand playing cards changed my life.

I was skeptical of the free cards when I ordered my case. Usually free things are not quality. But WOW. I was shocked when I got them. Every other deck of cards I have had were sticky and never shuffled well, but dbrand's cards, with their silky air-cushioned texture and oiled finish, glided through my hands when I read and shuffled them. The robot theme matched the violence that me and my friends get into whenever we play lol. And the case. Every playing cards set I have has a cheap cardboard, more like paper, box that disintegrates like after a month. But the robot cards's case has magnets. MAGNETS. Not even Samsung puts magnets in their phones, yet dbrand puts them in a case for a deck of cards. I cannot tell you enough how happy I was when I realized my cards would be easy to put in and take out, and that the case would secure them enough as to where they would not fall out. Thank you dbrand for the cards. You guys are my go to company when it comes to cases, screen protectors, and now playing cards.

Took advantage of the summer sale 🔥

I recently got a new Z Fold 5, and decided to get the best case for it. ngl it makes the folding mechanism feel even more premium than it used to feel.

Question about case

I took advantage of the summer sale and got me an acid grip case for my new Z Fold 5 (will post pics when I get it). I was just wondering if it impacted reverse wireless charging?

Help (rant)

Currently, I own an iPhone 15. I have been an iPhone user for 6-7 years, and I owned an iPhone XS before. Although I love the aesthetics of iOS and how polished it is, I am just tired of how annoying it is to have everything work how Apple intended it to (for example, why can I select in the middle of a word). I have been a big fan of Apple for years; I even own the whole ecosystem (iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, iMac). But I think it is time for a change, and I need help choosing.

Since I am in Germany, I was kind of hoping to try out some of the Chinese phones that I cannot get in America. So the brands I had in mind were Samsung, Google, Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus, Honor, and Vivo. I have a budget of $1k more or less, so I immediately eliminated Vivo when I realized that even there base flagship costed around $1100. Then I eliminated Xiaomi because the 17 and 15 Ultra are too expensive, the base 17 and 15 are too small (I want a large phone), and the T models were not that appealing. Then when I saw Oppo's X9 Ultra, I was ready to purchase it immediately when I saw that absolutely insane camera system, but my wallet cried when it saw that $2000 price tag. I saw the X9, which I could afford, but decided to just ultimately eliminate Oppo because the OnePlus 15 was basically the same, and I just preferred the way it looked. Then I looked at Honor, and their phones looked pretty nice and they came with a lot of extras, but after watching a lot of reviews, I could just tell that I would not like MagicOS. I seemed to much like it was trying to copy iOS, but it also did not seem as polished.

Then I looked at Samsung phones, and I was finding insanely cheap prices for some of them. So I decided to eliminate OnePlus because for the same price as a OnePlus 15, I could just get a brand new S24 Ultra, which is imo the best looking phone Samsung has ever made. That left me with Samsung and Google (the phone I could get in America...). Anyways, when I was watching reviews, Google's Tensor chips always seem behind, and I am not a fan of that. I use my phone heavily, and I need something that will keep up. Keep in mind I am coming from an iPhone 15 with the A16 Bionic, and the way I use my phone, I kept throttling that chip.

Then I was left with Samsung, which I guess is a good entry point into Android. After doing much research, I was left with these phones: S24 Ultra, S25 Ultra, S26 Ultra, Z Fold 5, Z Fold 6. The sensible person in me wants to go for the S24 Ultra; it has the absolutely beautiful titanium design, and the camera system is still good today, and I would have a little money left for some headphones. But for like $50 more I can get an S25 Ultra, which has that 50MP ultrawide camera. But then I lose BLUETOOTH S-PEN?! And also, idk wth Samsung was thinking with those cheap ahh looking camera rings. Of for another $100, I could get the S26 Ultra, with a literal privacy display BUILT IN! Apple would never, unless it is ten years later and they call it innovation. But then it is Aluminum...like come on. Aluminum is just weak compared to other metals. I abused my iPhone XS much harder and longer than I did my iPhone 15 and it still looks better.

But then there is the engineering side of me. For just $1000, I can get a brand new Z Fold 5---a phone that folds! My productivity would go up like crazy, it would be such a flex, yet the cameras just seem so...meh. But then I could get the Z Fold 6 for just $200 more, and I would get a much better-looking design (EXCEPT FOR THOSE CHEAP AF LOOKING CAMERA RINGS).

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I really hate how hard it is to chose. It becomes even harder when manufactures de-innovate.

That is why I am here. If you made it this far, thank you, you have amazing patience lol. What are your guys thoughts on what I should get? Or would you bite the price of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra for that absolutely insane camera system?

Also, can anyone with a Pixel tell me what Tensor performance is like? Keep in mind that I multitask heavily on my phone. And anyone with an Honor phone, what is MagicOS like?

P.S. Not all prices were accurate to what I posted.

How to transfer credits from a different university?

Hello Everyone,

I am a freshman in high school who is taking college classes at UMGC through their dual enrollment program (courses I am taking at UMGC are not counting towards high school). I am considering transferring to UT when I graduate. I tried to look at which courses transfer and how, but I cannot find any clear information on the site other than for transferring from another Texas university. Can anyone give me info as to how transferring works or a link to a site that will?

S26 Ultra case inquiry

I am thinking a upgrading from an iPhone 15 to a S26 Ultra. I currently have the grip on my iPhone, and it lays flat with no table wobble. When I looked on dbrand's site, I cannot tell whether or not the grip or the tank allows the phone to lay flat. Can anyone with the case tell me whether or not the case lays flat? thx in advance

Bring back iMac skins

Dbrand, I would buy iMac skins in an instant. I am tired of the nasty white chin. The tape I put on it just makes it look tacky. If anyone has any unopened ones I will buy them

When will case be discontinued?

yo robots,

I am planning on getting a Samsung Galaxy Z-fold five. I need to know whether or not the case would be discontinued soon because of the upcoming Z fold eight. Can you give me an exact date on when that case will be discontinued? Depending on whether or not it is discontinued will affect my choice of phone and case. Please do not discontinue it as I really want to get that phone and your case.

Make a camo skin

before you guys attack me, I know dbrand makes a black and glitch camo. but the only thing stopping my sister is the fact that there is no traditional green and brown camo. Just saying, if you made camo, you would get another customer
