Hello,

My kids loves steering and driving, and wreckfast 1 had a deep discount so I thought I'd let him give it a go. I thought a game centered around crashing and driving would be right up his alley but he's gotten anxiety from crashes and seeing damage to the car. He's since taken to going on the farm field and just doing donuts to drive but feel safe.

I wanted to download a godmode so he could learn how to steer and drive better without the anxiety, but to my surprise, there's no godmode!

I was at a park with my child today and as he turned a corner, he was inches away from colliding with a kid no older than 11 going at about 30km/h. Of course, he himself was not wearing a helmet.

My child easily could've had a concussion or worse.

It's not right that these kids are zipping past playground zones and schools at car speeds. Sure, it's illegal, but it literally happens hourly with a new kid on a new scooter daily.

What's the point in this highly risky activity being illegal if it doesn't stop any of these behaviours?

Shortly after, my neighbour's kid with an escooter whizzes by, while towing a girl and holding a phone for a selfie while driving. I can't make this up.

What can be done?

I feel terrible for invading someone's privacy like that, much less my own wife. We've been together for 11 years, and I've never done anything like that. I suppose this is the first time she's talked about someone at work the way she has and it's prompted me to be jealous and a bit suspicious of the guy.

The other guy has a partner. My wife shares photos and obviously talks about our kids, but in the texts, I'm not mentioned at all. There's smiley faces and mentions of playful stalking by her and looking at a gradbook that he's in. She shared a pic of a page of the gradbook page he's in. She's sharing photos of family activities that we both partook in (no people in the photos), and a cake she baked for me, but no mention of the fact it was my birthday cake.

I just realized showing the cake she baked for me, but not mentioning it was for me is quite significant.

HE mentions his partner once in the texts, meanwhile I'm missing from her texts.

Feels like the beginning of the end. What the absolute fuck. I don't have anyone to tell.
