I will get tested at the right moment
If they are, what is the risk/cost of getting these removed safely?

How would you repair this rafter?

Nearly completely split off at bottom. It’s bone dry. Those are spider’s eggs. Thanks

What do I need to consider for brick cladding/slips behind?

Thanks

What stain is this?

Would like to know what is the lighter shade to match the outside (which looks like previous owner used a darker stain over top)

Thanks

Wallpaper

Should I be concerned about anything in this photo? What about the brown area?

A damp issue caused the paper to peel and there js mold

I have heard about asbestos backing. This part of property is 1930s but likely this has been redone several tjmes since then

Jointing tape

What could this be made of? Should I be suspicious?

I have read about bitumen with asbestos

Pre 2000, likely 1970/1980

A google search suggested hessian/ jute but when wetting it, it’s thick and tears like gaffer tape

Thanks

What is this? Pre 2000

Renovating a house we just bought, removed old aerial socket, some kind of board or mortar between the bricks and plaster.

Appears hard and pitted. Colours is slightly yellow. Can’t see fibres nor does it seem crumbly

Going to get it tested with a home kit (unless I should get a pro in?)
