I want to thank you guys for your support, here is the finished world! Not to toot my own horn but this probably the largest and most accurate Minecraft build of Henry stickmin.

A tew things:
• It is bedrock edition only
•There are two areas, the launch site and the station, to get to the station you have to go to the control tower, press a button and get teleported there.
• You spawn on a dirt path, leading to the guard hut where Kayn West is situated in the Master Bounty Hunter and Stickmin Space Resort endings.

My favourite species, 3 out of my 5 colonies are at the biological worker stage, never thought I’d come this far with this species.

(Ik puffballs said he won’t make any more, don’t get pissy about that in the comments it’s just a joke).

Apparently (I’m not sure though) one of the moderators of this sub was the one who killed Anne Widecome.

Was not expecting this, it was going perfect, th fist biological worker had hatched, Lasius niger hosts were fine, then I found her dead today during my regular checkups, she was absolutely fine last night during feeding.

She lasted 11 months, could’ve been 11 years tbh.

Rest easy, you absolute legend! You managed to get to the biological worker stage which less than 100 people have ever done ever in captivity.

She will be placed on salt and then hopefully isopropyl alcohol.

For those who don’t know, Lasius Umbratus is a parasitic species that takes over Lasius niger nests because the queen cannot independently found.

Workers hatched a few days ago.

I’m sooooo happy!!!! This is the first official success with parasitic Lasius I’ve hadddd! After years of trying and getting close! The other 12 will hatch soon!

L. Fuliginosus is parasitic and require a host colony like Lasius Umbratus or Lasius niger (they prefer Umbratus). To raise their brood.

However the host used for mine is their secondary host, L. niger. Not many people get to this point with this species or any parasitic species, one of my Lasius Umbratus colonies (another parasitic species) also produced cocoons if you saw my previous post.

This means that in a few weeks I might get biological Fuliginosus workers, I have only seen less than 10 people on the internet get to the biological worker stage with this species.
However there is a problem, due to how Lasius niger is a slightly incompatible host with L. Fuliginosus compared to their natural host, L. Umbratus. It is said on forums the L. niger have issue with opening fuliginosus cocoons, often leaving the workers to rot inside.

I really hope they’ll be able to hatch properly.

All the larvae in one of my Lasius Umbratus colonies have spun cocoons. For those who don’t know, Lasius Umbratus is European species of Lasius that is parasitic, these workers are not her own they’re of another Lasius species, she just uses them to care for her brood.

And in a few weeks the queen’s biological daughters will hatch, this species dies commonly in captivity, not many people have tried to keep them let alone even seen queens of them.

And soon I will be in the rare handful of people that have proper Lasius umbratus colonies with Umbratus workers.
