This game gets a lot of things right.

But if I can't put a tricorne hat on Mr. Dodo and make him the first mate aboard my ship, it is an abject failure.

Our bustling cove.

My brother and I have landed in a nice little cove and we're building on opposite peninsulas inward to the center. I'm Governor of the civilian sector while he's Lord Admiral of the Garrison. Wanted to show off some of what I've built so far.

In Order:
-The view from my Brother's Garrson showing the town.
-The market and docks.
-Boat docks, shipyard and blacksmith.
-The Tavern, market and Lighthouse
-Closer view of the Blacksmith and Shipyard (I did my best to make the ship being built match the in-game dimensions of a frigate)
-The Apothecary/Witch
-The Terraced Farm and Mill
-Functioning Pig Pen!
-The Governor's Mansion
-A final view of the Lighthouse at night>

Everything here's got a fully done interior and serves it's appropriate function in terms of crafting. I'll post some interiors another time, perhaps, there's a toilet in the governor's mansion that I'm quite proud of.

Did my first lab after the patch. Another lightning lab level 30 which I've done hundreds of times now. Before this patch I'd kill the boss in 1 or 2 rounds of attractor field and it always took half a spice bar or less. Now it's 4 rounds of attractor and almost my entire spice bar. What happened?

I was going pretty hard at lightning labs on level 30 for a long while. Got my first g5 rifle after 50 labs or so. Have probably done about 100 since without seeing another rifle. It tapered off slowly to doing the lab every time it popped up in my mission queue, then doing it just once a day, now the thought of even going inside disgusts me. I sure hope that loot patch makes some VERY dramatic changes.
